I tried. I’ve been down on him since he came to Carolina. Even when he was doing “well” at the end of last season, I still wasn’t sold because his numbers still didn’t pop out. He was still putting up game manager numbers. He had a really good game against ATL, and with that I told myself I’d be ok with him getting this season to start. After this past performance, I am squarely on the get rid of him train. All this inconsistency; I’m good on it. Ready to move on. I could see him playing decent down the stretch like he did last year, but the pressure will have been relieved by then. Ready to move on.

Legette, who struggled with drops as a rookie, confirmed Canales’ assessment. “Anytime the ball’s in the air, those plays, they’ve gotta be made,” he said. “I’ve just gotta do a better (job) realizing where I am on the field, dragging my foot. Get better at those things.” Legette isn’t long for this league; atleast as a WR. What he’s speaking on is stuff a receiver shouldn’t have to speak on, or have taught to them at this point in their careers. I like Legette. He’s got a lot of work to do. He’s so far behind in development. His ceiling at this point is a WR like Devin Funchess, and much more was expected from him with where he was drafted

Fire both, but I think the more realistic option is firing Morgan - Keep Canales.

Eh, I don’t think so. I think Morgan is running this show, with Canales closely behind him. Problem is, they are both terrible. Morgan should’ve been let go when Fitt was tossed. I am all for Morgan getting the boot at the end of the season, but if you do that, you might as well go ahead and can Canales too. Start getting these scouts replaced as well.

Canales could be a good coach, but unfortunately, he’s not going to get a chance to show that here. He is tied to Bryce Young now, and when you get rid of Bryce, it would be wise to dump both Morgan and Canales as well. The time for Canales to get rid of Bryce was last year.

Yea, I saw that post and had to roll my eyes. We have never been as bad as we are now and during this 7 year no playoff drought. Getting on Panthers fans for not being positive enough is crazy to me. The panthers are lucky that there’s still some interest in the program.

I might’ve just stared in shock for about 5 minutes after that play. That’s like receiver 101 stuff right there. I swear if I was coach, I would’ve walked right up to him and told him, “son, go ahead and hit the showers” He’s not going to be in this league very long.

4-5 wins. Canales gets one more year, but Evero won’t return. Canales will be outta here next year, though. Both he and Bryce. I don’t see this working.

This FO arms gotta be hurting from all the churning it’s been doing since fitterer got here and left. Nothing added to the pot at this point will make a difference. Ride it out until 26, and at that point, it might be time to add a bunch of new ingredients; including a replacement of main ingredients and churners
