Ranking 2024 is nothing more than an opinion at this point

So he's thinking/hearing that T-Mac could go before Jeanty, who is all but assured to go in the Top 10, but so many here are so sure that he's not worth taking at 8 if he's there when we're up, ya'll be crazy.

I think Morgan knows the sweet spot of this draft is from about 38-50. I wouldn't be surprised to see a trade back and acquiring a 2nd rounder in that range.
Or trade up

Did you see this dudes arms? Tree trunks. 32’ arms are really non factor for me.
Yes same but a lot of NFL teams think 33 is minimum for a passrusher to keep tackles at a distance

Best speculated return I've seen suggested so far is an extra mid second round pick.
The best 2nd round pick we've made in the last 8 years was Taylor Moton all the way back in 2017. And that was a Dave Gettleman pick. We are simply not good at this.
This is the draft to have 2nd round picks.

If you have something for sale and you don't like the price, you keep it. Still, I expect at least a few teams are putting together offers for 8 if Jeanty or Sanders are there.
I think more Jeanty and Hampton at this point. Dallas is crazy for a RB and might be our ticket for a trade back if they see Chicago as a threat to take the guy they want

Watched everything I could find on Jaylon Walker and he is the best player in the draft. Trade up of need be…he is amazing. He sounds like a coach and is sick athletic. Please NFL gods send him here
I don't know about best, the 32" arms are the only real downfall for him tho. If he had 33" arms I think he would be right up there with Carter

Best news of the offseason. I still want an extra 2nd but a 3rd would still be worth it given the options at 8. I just hope someone bites.
If all we can get is a 3rd they will have to have a sweetener added to make it work. A straight up 3rd would be a bad trade

Sounds like the Panthers front office likes the smell of their own farts too much and thinks there are chump teams willing to give up a haul but this isn't the draft for it. And our rep is still the team that gets fleeced not the team that does the fleecing.
We don't need a haul just fair compensation, or even slightly unfair

Daniel Jeremiah's top 150 prospects

Rank 5
Jalon Walker
Georgia · Edge · Junior
Walker is a compact, powerful defender with length and explosiveness. He played both on and off the ball in the Georgia defensive scheme, but he’s at his best on the edge. As a pass rusher, he can win with pure speed, power and an explosive counter move. He’s also a weapon when used to spy the quarterback. He can mirror the QB’s movement before closing the space in a hurry. He dominated in the Bulldogs’ first meeting against Texas during the 2024 season. He’s a firm edge-setter against the run. When he’s stacked off the ball, he’s a touch late to key/diagnose, but he can attack and take on blocks or scrape over the top for tackles. He has outstanding change-of-direction quickness in space. Overall, Walker is a tone-setter on defense and UGA coaches rave about his makeup and leadership.

But Luvu was a bargain free agent. Would you draft him, knowing what you know now, at #8 overall?
I feel like Luvu is his floor so yeah

Then maybe I need to publish mine. Had the Panthers followed my mock two years ago we would have had three more Pro Bowl players in 2024.
No we good

I can see Williams, especially if they are thinking 4-3 in the future

It wasn't really that complex what he did with Luvu. Played him as a lb on running downs and edge on passing downs.
I'm glad you agree

I agree with you, the weirdest part though is it seems Evero wants hybrids and tweeners but had no idea what to do with Chinn.
Trying to figure out a S/LB tweener is different than an I/OLB hybrid. He's already done it with Luvu.

You've watched the Panthers on draft day. That's the only way we play.
I think they did well on draft day trades last year
