  1. Screw it put BOTH of them as running back in the I formation ...... If I was on defense, "Timeout TIMEOUT TIMEOUT!!, my hamstring suddenly got tight coach, no idea why...."
  2. minus the 2024 draft....which could still get away better Dan has done about as good as a rookie GM could. He didn't have 1st overall pick or a future 2nd cause of the BY trade, that's a killer in building a team devoid of talent. He got the future 2nd back in a trade. Most of his FA big tickets have help, I know lloyd will without seeing him. He stole Michael Jackson and got draft picks for 79 year old Adam and Dalton. He's "fixed" the OL and DL with some depth, no other former GM had done that. Id say the team has gained talent form the time he took over, I know its a low line and all. Still that's the whole goal, add talent that helps make a winner. 2-5-8. Give him another full draft and full season and see how it goes. I feel like the team with solid QB play could give about any non-top 5 team all they want. Panthers did that twice with the rams and the MVP. That's was with guru Mccvay and them knowing evero....
  3. Yea there's a couple spots were "depth" is just a waste. 3 decent TEs with some hope, using a 4-7 rounder would have a tough time beating out Frank or "the mayor" for a job. There's room for a starter, not more of the same player. That's my take, besides I like either frank or the mayor for the 4th role. Just need one of those "develop" type UDFA on the PS..
  4. I thought it was funny that Luke was like " Dont draft this guy ".... Luke is like peppers, he's a different thinker....my god if they got the right coaching or people around them before the NFL......all records would fall......maybe its a great thing neither "found" the drive or anger to be one of the chosen record setters. Its hard to picture Luke what he was, he's like a camp church helper that facilitates cabin life to the youth for his remaining life.
  5. Proctor is my exception, but my ass GM job does have enough security...... Its about 2 weeks away, me thinks you will start hearing from all the "experts" " Teams really like proctor more than the mockers, watch him for a top 10 pick blah blah blah". Need a star like fall for his services, besides he can play WR/TE He's got some RB plays too........come on Dan get him!!!
  6. I agree with you. Plus GMs and coaches feel the same, they want to win NOW, not next. I would break this idea if feeling or my top guy proctor somehow made it 19, real LTs are the hardest spot to fill, even over QB. I think either can play LT.
  7. Jermod McCoy is visiting panthers this Friday. Me thinks those Michael Jackson are not going well.... I think the only way to draft McCoy is a trade up.... he missed all of 2025 with a bad knee. Put up insane numbers for his pro-day.
  8. not having white hurt, he's just carrys the scoring and pace without most of the starting unit in the game. Ball just did all he could. James, had a great year and just couldn't finish with the scoring. Best rookie class in hornets history, all three of them are legit NBAers with plus traits. I was questioning Kon and his ability to guard players. He's no weakness there, brown went right at him plenty too. Boston, allow hornets to be healthy and play some games in the hive without those refs...... I still like hornets in 7.
  9. duren should be on this team...
  10. I mean, Tom Brady was a 6th rounder and he's the goat. So only draft players in the 6th or only draft QBs in the 6th.....and irrelevant and such.... ________________________________________________________ Just a topic with many recent players drafted around 19, some happened to be WRs and they are among the elite playmakers. I do not want to pull a matt millen, said so many times..
  11. I think the WR is among the top 1/3 compared to other groups. It would be about where a run is started, imo.
  12. I was pointing out the caliber of player available at 19, man WR has some of the best that came from that zone. Even Ceedee Lamb at 17, he's a stud. 2025, 2024, 2020, 2023 all recent years all had great pay back in value terms. There will be around 4 WR available that the rank has them in the 19 range. Besides the OSU WR, so the #2 ranked WR maybe there for taking and recent drafts show he could be elite.
  13. In one of the vids I watched, Drew had contact with UNC and turned down a meetings...... Jesus H Christ Michael was around 6 or even 7+ from public infro.... He's the waffle house 300Lb ham planet after the sober meal..... Im shocked at the type of coaches taking a pass. During the season some slimeball had to put out feelers about "Hey if Davis was let go, would you consider the HC job" Again piss poor planning by a school that has one viewpoint of itself and the outside one just told you "Nah, Im fine/happy at my poo-school, Ill pass" Any info on his coaching staff?
  14. 2016 Corey Coleman (No. 15, Browns) Will Fuller (No. 21, Texans) Josh Doctson (No. 22, Commanders) Laquon Treadwell (No. 23, Vikings) 2017 Corey Davis (No. 5, Titans) Mike Williams (No. 7, Chargers) John Ross (No. 9, Bengals) 2018 D.J. Moore (No. 24, Panthers) Calvin Ridley (No. 26, Falcons) 2019 Marquise Brown (No. 25, Ravens) N’Keal Harry (No. 32, Patriots) 2020 Henry Ruggs (No. 12, Raiders) Jerry Jeudy (No. 15, Broncos) CeeDee Lamb (No. 17, Cowboys) Jalen Reagor (No. 21, Eagles) Justin Jefferson (No. 22, Vikings) Brandon Aiyuk (No. 25, 49ers) 2021 Ja’Marr Chase (No. 5, Bengals) Jaylen Waddle (No. 6, Dolphins) DeVonta Smith (No. 10, Eagles) Kadarius Toney (No. 20, Giants) Rashod Bateman (No. 27, Ravens) 2022 Drake London (No. 8, Falcons) Garrett Wilson (No. 10, Jets) Chris Olive (No. 11, Saints) Jameson Williams (No. 12, Lions) Jahan Dotson (No. 16, Commanders) Treylon Burks (No. 18, Titans) 2023 Jaxon Smith-Njigba (No. 20, Seahawks) Quentin Johnson (No. 21, Chargers) Zay Flowers (No. 22, Ravens) Jordan Addison (No. 23, Vikings) 2024 Marvin Harrison Jr. (No. 4, Cardinals) Malik Nabers (No. 6, Giants) Rome Odense (No. 9, Bears) Brian Thomas Jr. (No. 23, Jaguars) Xavier Worthy (No. 28, Chiefs) Ricky Pearsall (No. 31, 49ers) Xavier Legette (No. 32, Panthers) 2025 Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State | Tampa Bay Buccaneers Round 1, Pick 19 Matthew Golden, Texas | Green Bay Packers Round 1, Pick 23 JJ was the best WR for a couple years, JSN was 20th and just signed a 42.5 million per deal. Ravens love Flowers. Egbuka was a strong OROY pick Seems like a great spot with these recent picks.......Best value has been WR....
  15. false rumor, he's a team leader. No clue what he is worth.....Rico came off the streets for 2.5million and put him to #2 for weeks. I doubt a team would give much more than a late rounder. Like Frank said above, 5th would be tops and very lucky. He's got a fair contract and is well liked by players, coaches, and FO. No reason to trade.
  16. The truth is @CarolinaLivin posted it and I took notice at the names and drove into the rabbit hole, just happen it lead to Plebbit. One of my favorite draft gurus loves KC, just that he's around other panther WRs that have struggled..I mean Im about the only XL supporter leftd. Im like 50/50, but honestly haven't done enough to feel strong either. The drop and zone stuff is not what I like the weakness to be, but he is explosive, play all 3 WR spots, and does have playmaking skills which is rare. Right now I wouldn't be upset if panthers used the 51st. Months ago I told the huddle to prepare for a early WR selection.
  17. Even a tiger WR in the thick for me, I mean 2nd or 3rd for this guy. Heres a fluff vid and he's what the Panthers need in the slot....
  18. here some more nerd stuff JSN is a 3.38 YPRR guy...... like I said the cut off is 2.3....anyone above 3 is elite. Zone is 70% of NFL D most times.
  19. He maybe more of a slot or dynamic or whatever trigger draft word. His results against zone are the same as TMJ, mingo, and XL...... Plus Im sure you and my man @TD alt see the other bust among this this. Polk was traded for floor peanuts. Coleman, LOL do I need to post one of his fiddy stories?? Mims, bust, harry bigger bust.....I mean Jesus its petty bad how clear this is. Plus Panthers want Brian Thomas Jr and have called jags a few times....THUS this is their top profile for a WR....... No wonder the KC love. FYI you want a WR above 2.3.....thats the magic number and lemon is a 3.22 which is tops. There's other studs in the 3 range.....You know zone is like 70% of many teams base.... This guys can not figure it out and that's clear here.....
  20. That and If there's a strong 50/50 split among two important groups. UDFA that's some brownie points, I heard " They were the only team to give me a 30, so I had to come here" Why not, what bugs me is each year they only use 27-28, Id make sure each year 30. Plus I would wear out the local loophole. How about this- the record falls this year!! Panthers will draft a tiger, witness me!!
  21. brother I see 3 names near the top and KC is right there. I guess they maybe not the same, but this against zone...which is a _______ NFL D. You can draw your known thoughts.
  22. My mistake about joker and Mike being bubs doing the turn. I did see where the GM and Mike hated each other at the end too.
