Long ways to catch goat-status Olsen for a 3rd, but what are the other trades that can complete with the rare positive Panthers out-come?? Bonus comment- When Coker is back and that should be soon(within one full week), Im about 87.41983% sure Jimmy Horn will be cut....rip PS lovefest, Prepare thy self.....

Official Week 3: Panthers vs. Falcons Gameday Thread
Basbear replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
Me re-watching the game= -
Brother this would been the truth, I heard rumors, legit rumors that a switch was weeks in the planning......................Then Williams tossing 4 TD and near 300 yards with a high % and total reset now. Still make no mistake, Ben Johnson loves Bagent and that was the reason for $$$$$. I heard form the source himself, bagent had a better TC/off-season than Williams. He was much more prepared and put in the extra work that Williams didn't care too........ But we all know #1 overall pick get the most rope. There's still time for Williams to revert back and Bagent to get a shot. The teammates love him much more than Williams too....

He blondled out week ago too, someone needs to check on the guy.........

We won, but Bryce and Canalas still blow
Basbear replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
ATL out gained Panthers in total, rush and pass. The game was won by ST mainly by field position. I mean BY just needs around 35 yards and they were in FG range a few times. -

Sanders to miss weeks to high ankle sprain
Basbear replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
He was getting the starter snaps. It feels like he's always getting injuries/hurt, even in the off-season. They need to steal another player off PS or sign Kingston. -
You are right. Just for the current 2025 Panthers I feel is about the only solution towards a correct path. it may help the OL too since they are struggling as well. There's nothing the Panthers do well....might as well try the olde dink and dunk method until its at this same poor level.

My last 3 posts have been this- The biggest letdown is OL, the highest paid OL, the one unit with real talent. They have struggle with simple biltzs and stunts, thus BY is under the gun and forced to deal with too many hurries and pressures. Whole team needs to play better, OL is right at the top along with BY. Now with Mays and zalad......ugh it maybe a upgrade given hunt was playing with bum foot and cobert looked bad too. They need to play better for Hubbard and dowdle too, too many plays Ive seen 4 defenders meeting the RB before the LOS.

You see, this is why I'm more critical of Dave Canales
Basbear replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
The whole team minus Horn, Hubbard, Tmac, and Jackson is at fault. When 95% of the team is sucking, the QB is at fault too. So is the whole coaching staff. Just A #1 overall QB should be able to lift up the teammates to higher levels. Struggle city for everyone. -
Honestly the biggest letdown for me through two is the sorry-ass OL play with hunt and cobert. I know hunt was manning up playing with a injuried foot. They are the highest paid. The simple stunts and common blitz means BY is in danger. (Of course BY needs to play better, so does anyone not named horn, Jackson, Tmac, hubbard) The whole team looks like its still in pre-season mode, easy to lose both.
 -
The way the highest paid OL is playing, they should never go for 2 or any 4th and inches....They got blown off the ball with cobert and hunt.

Smitty goes off on CLT on WFNZ
Basbear replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
There was 3 known teammates Smitty punched. The big rumor was he got in early career Cams face and that's when Gettleman choose to trade him, siding with your young QB. It's just a big mess, Smitty, Panthers, tepper, bobcats/hornets, and the queen. Plus teppers name is on smittys checks. -
Tmac= Slant boy 25 Renfrow= if 2021 maybe the best for dinkin Hubbard= found his hands in 25 Dowdle= great Rb hands Sanders= better catcher than blocker Horn/Tremay/Tremble/whoever get snaps= more than able to run short quick routes or stand in a spot close to LOS. Coker= should be able to add to the group That's plenty my friend along with two RBs with good hands. I know Dave is not Payton and BY isn't Brejesus. This group can pull off a Chinese copy of it tho......

If you want to save your job, I offer nearly the only option you have. RUN A "DINK AND DUNK" OFFENSE. You have the QB and players to make this somewhat difficult to defend. It would allow you to control the clock at times and make BY look the best he can given his limiting factors. Thousand and thousands of hours of tape to adapt into your "system". and I do not care if its week three, start right meow... Bonus help- MY GAWD get a better 15 first plays for the game. This is a reflection of your work during the week and your format against that weeks defense. You are total poo at this, do better. Run a ball control passing "Dink and Dunk" you Pollyanna chode.

So in back-2-back years the Panthers lose their best player for the year within the first two games?? Hunt was fighting a hurt foot and now is out til 26, but brown and hunt recently signed new deals. just isn't fair....

Evero had me fouled about being one of best upcoming DCs. Im giving him until week 6 to show why he should last. If not for the LONG-TIME coverage skills of a healthy horn and MJ, its ultra scary to think they could be worst than giving up the most points in NFL history.
 -
I do not his healing or how the surgery went. Just 3 weeks for a grown man with all sorts of "juice" in his system, I just know toughness is not of strength of his....... I knew that when a safety pancaked him years ago.... I do think back to Chris Sims speen game and he finished it somehow. Went to the hospital and if he came a couple hours laters, he would be rip. Im just different about injuries and too old school about it. Still 4 full weeks for this, something else must have happened. I've been taking my pops to visits and they are scared to death about infections, Icky could have easily got one. DJ had issues in rehab last year.

Bryce Young is a problem — what would you do if you were Dan Morgan?
Basbear replied to OldhamA's topic in Carolina Panthers
Told you they should have drafted him, I was plenty ready in the 4th!!! Im no fan either, just.....well this team would truly have a little more hope with sanders on the roster. Just a flyer 4th and panther may are the one of the worst drafting late round teams.... -
So Icky is going ANOTHER week?? I need to logout before I say some ish.....

I honestly think the Jags had a upper hand due to Dave being the OC of TB 2 years ago and going to rival sparked TB to give insight into Daves play call sheet or/and playbook. Jags were prepared too well and seemed to be in the Panthers huddle for around 80% of the plays. Props to them, they are the better team.

Basbear replied to OldhamA's topic in Carolina Panthers
You can not trust anyone, I have learned this. Still you must get the message across, All college QBs need extra attention this year. Id honestly feel drafting 2 should be the plan. Drafting is the only solution, unless anyone believes another Jake Delhommey deal happens. Panthers won the QB lotto with Jake, its so rare that another Jake isn't walking on this team.... Im not ready to write off the season and I think the huddle should know better.....its just been 7 years of disappointment......It changes you. I said no week one is a "must", but in 30 years this felt the closest to one given the poor Jags, bad QB, and new staff. Panthers had some hope, now its all gone. I sped though the game again, I noticed Jags were better prepared than I thought. The Jags coaches on both sides seem to have the Panthers playbooks and knew how most developed. I don't know if TB gave Coen Daves playbook, it felt like it the first time watching and even more the second. Jags knew what was coming and it made the Panthers look worse than they are. Still a long season...... -

I heard this a while back and it made me re-think the player Cam was. Nic Fairly(2nd round? early? or mid 1st?), Panthers drafted late 7th Lee Zimba(sp??), and a mid-round DB who's name escapes me. There maybe more, but not many more names. That is truly remarkable to overcome. Now he was drafted by Panthers and they did have RBs, IOL, and Olsen. Still on the extreme lower talent level compared to other QB and the depth of WRs, OTs, and coaches. Cam won the divII championship before the national one. What a career of lifting.......
