He was a real difference maker this game, hate to see the passing stats with his 2......plus that kickoff return was nice too, O needs all the starting field it can get...
-
Much needed, turns out the starting game against two pro-bowl OGs is the issue thus far. Played great the last two, especially giants one. He came back in after a dizzy spell as well.

The ball nearly hit Henderson in the head on that huge pass, he had decent coverage, just great pass and catch. Plus this is main reason- If you have JC Horn on one-side and Henderson on the other, who are you throwing at??!?!?!? My answer would be Henderson and Im a fan. Hes still learning, one time Wilkis was coaching him up face2face on the sideline. Trash is not the correct term.

Im placing my vote for Al holcomb. Things could get hairy if Snow leaves with RHule in-season. AL is just a ast to ast type of role. Wilks could be a the DC and AL HC, maybe a improvement...

Not 100%, but dam near! If Im a LB/DL/CB at those rates, going with thee tell....panthers would surly mess up on the other 3, so no worries...

This maybe a great example of a thread that needs bumping in the future..... I think the results will be different in say.......10 weeks. I member huddlers @ing me and pooping on me cause i wasnt a Sam Darnold fan and the panthers were 3-0...........the same dam thing happen when I called out the soft-ass defense and many huddlers Matt Rhule'd with poo-stain stats. They ALLLLLL got quiet when the weeks played on.....

Will this franchise ever have an "offense minded" head coach
Basbear replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yea, just not in important roles. Like I said deep waters, its MUCH different than the kiddie pool... This is his first year calling plays and as a OC......Im not on the Dorsey hype train either, for the same reasons.....not to mention I could call plays for the Bills right now and win/score some points.....I want a coach thats capable of taking less and making more... I dont know who that is, plus like you Im old school about coaches and thats NOT the current model -

Almost too young and hes just now in the deep waters of the NFL.....First year OC after lots coffee grabbing/picking up footballs.... Needs more seasoning... -
Its a fear of mine.....I know Rhule is just like 2002 John Fox...."RUN DA BALLLLL!!" CMC is NOT some old-school between the tackles bruising RB.......he needs a open mind to call plays.

Previous Game is Under Review - Panthers (Week 2 - @ Giants)

Done with YGM when he got hurt/injuried during OTAs. Soft just like most of the team.. -

Panthers are already near the top of the NFL shiit list, hiring Flores would mean more bad ref calls, more fines among other things. I was shocked Tomlin did it, plus I think theres got to a issue with his current lawsuit that would prevent him for being a HC.....I still think the league got some sort of BS rules were they veto this, idk for sure.. -

It would keep up with the brilliant plan of going after Jets, both current and former....... *but this may have a Luvu result... -
Hes calling the game like hes trying to hide all the good plays, some sort of 7D BS chess. Thats and hes scared, like no trust in Baker, Ickey, OL overall, and DJ. The staff around him needs to echo this thought into his head- "Ben dont hold back, playoffs(lolololol), injuries, other BS.....lets score some points" "If and when the defense makes adjustments, we will be READY!!"

I know Bigkat said O coach and thats been the trend(plus its working) and all. My best guess for a HC- Raheem Morris. Been a HC *AND* it was in the NFC south, so he knows whats up.....Coached both sides and had good results. He fixed the rams D with only Darnold, Ramsey, and truck drivers... Hes still "young" and been with Mccvay long enough to learn modern tactics.. I cannot talk draft right now.....just one of my personal deals. But brother, Id be lying if I didnt say i already clicked the draft forum and got much more depressed. Both at myself and the current panther feels.... -
Agree, it looks like Brady is still in the booth.... Im not ready to throw in the towel, but my god Mccadoo needs to figure this out.....those two Ls were on Mccadoo, Baker, AND Rhule. D gots its own issues, but the first 20 +/- problems are coming form this offensive offense.

Issue is the MccVay and now Shanahan tree is picked clean now..... For sure I do not want any college coach. Not hot on any current re-threads either. About the best hope is some team panics or HC is burnt out of the current surrounding and gets fired. Then teppers open his massive wallet to fix this team.... Again Frank Reich seat has warmth......He saved the panthers before.. -
Thats mine as well. Brady never call college plays, much less NFL. Had no clue how to run a practice or answers for when D figured out his play calls/system. Snow- never called a NFL D. 65 years old and only claim to NFL frame was the LB coach on the famous 0-16 Lions team. "brains" of the rhules think tank....I will say his D was better than RRs D with less talents.....thats RR calling card and the commies look poor again on D with an elite DL... All the temple/baylor hires, 2 left him less past year....soooo much for loyalty.... His strength coach has the team looking WEAK for the past 2 years and 2 games. All on rhule hiring this guy cause he helped Rhule get his weirdo ass get in shape....No great experience, just followed Rhule around... Sports science my arse...

The first two games should have been played sometime in the three pre-season schedule. Saving wear and tear, scared about injuries, HORSESHIT!! They are not ready.

I truly loved that class and had top 5 all-time panther hopes.......man, not the start I needed for my golden "give each class two full off-seasons" before judgement. Horn- 6th game as a pro, form man-2-man to zone this season. Lots of good, some bad. I still believe he will be a elite CB TMJ- cannot get on the field. Thought he could challenge some WR records Christ- Looking great thus far for a young guy playing his first LG snaps Tremble- ugh my pick for "surprise" player. Hes 3rd string behind someone named Ricci, that played FB last yr. Im for sure surprised.... Chubba- filled in with decent rookie result. Looking like he may get cut right now. Struggles with blocks/biltz pick ups, catching, and holding the ball.... Nixon- thought he'd be the #3 DT, cut and no team claimed him...its not fully over with him on the PS Taylor- Looked like a 1st rounder last yr, this yr hes in a slump. Could be the zone system is a bad fit.... Smith- New OC loves him to death and he may save the draft class if he breaks out... Brown- darkhorse for OL, showed up to camp in the same sloppy shape. On PS LS- normally dont hate late round picks, 100% hated this dumbass pick. Spent last season on IR(nice $$$) cut this yr. Rhules "guy" Hoskins- looking like a 7th round steal as a decent backup DL. Not had a great 22 start....(theme) So as of 2day- Horn, chirst, and Smith looking like they are able to play. Limbo- Tremble, Taylor, Hoskins Thus far good depth with a few flashes "Its over/miracle needed/new coaching staff"- TMJ, Chubba, Nixon, Brown Out of the league-Long safety So its better than I thought, if you go by the rule that a great draft is 2 solid starters, 1 HQ backup, and 1 decent STers/deep depth. Panthers needed more and I thought as much. Maybe some can improve like good young players do.

You could flip these two and Id believe it... But that recent freakshow pic on the first post, bad look Tommy.....hope some of his real bros get him help.....couple more months he'll be Steven Tyler!!!

I hope you find this as funny as I did
