  1. .......... Im not follow much, but I thought Richards was what you need from your backup C? soooooo tired, after years of not taking the preseason hype, I bite some this year and same old BS losing with trading guys I thought can play and were developed.
  2. I think Dan was showcasing Zavala for trade. I mean lewis and hunt are young, great and here to stay. Kingston is here too. Just flip him for a 23 WR or 5th round pick, given all the holes. My guy John snow wants to keep OL a strength, that's makes sense too. I just feel he's wasted and one of the only trade chips on a team with too many holes.
  3. Honestly rough numbers and all, but 40 times are 90% just training your start. Which is why some teams don't put much into them. My main reason for wanting tmac at 8 or on the Panthers is there's no TE worth the 8th and edge is 2 rounds if not 3 rounds depth. WR is not. I feel this draft 95% rides on who is first round pick.
  4. I think the main goal is adding talent. O,D, depth, and ST all of it. Personally I believe the Panthers must use either the 1st or 2nd round pick on a pass catching weapon. Then you can use the remaining picks on D ala 2020. No One wants to say it, fans, folks in sales, Dan, Dave, this is going to longer than the up coming draft. Just lack of talent and depth, it shows. BY benefits no matter if the defense improves or he gets another legit weapon. Just make the overall team better and deeper. Dan has 9 picks and he did great this past UDFAs(three player have a good chance to have real roles in 25). I think in 2026 there's 160 million in cap space as well, Id pass on using it this year like they have done in past years. This FA class is buns. Even though its rarely used, Dan isn't scared to make a trade. He made a couple draft trades, 2xdionte Johnson, and Michael Jackson.
  5. 8 million per is our friendly bet. I know campy thought highly of him and even called him one of the best players on the team. He and others talk to scouts/GMs/presid/etc. The FA class is weak and he's shown LT, OGs and even C with good play levels. I think some team with space and a need at OT, with drop him a offer above 8milion. Some zone blocking team would love him at either OG too and hunt got 20 million this past year. I think Nijman is like a 50/50 cut, like if you are right and christ market is cold.....Dan could cut yoshi and pay BC a similar contract. I'd love to keep him, but I put it at a 2% chance he's here in 25. He has great 2022 tape along with starts across the line.
  6. I should have worded it better, I meant the last very small edge with success at both is von. LT is the best defender in NFL history. Still Many OTs during his era were in the 280 range, with him it didn't matter tho. Just like with any spot a ultra small player is against the odds. I think Carter will measure small figures against a few categories.
  7. Im neutral. Guess by that meaning I don't believe.
  8. keep up with the tmac prayers, Im seeing him drop in on a few boards.
  9. I need to see his combine. I think he's going to be BY size for edges........ The only light weight that was able to hold the point and pressure&sack was von Miller...... you could say freeny and Mathis. It's a small group.....
  10. Seee @kungfoodude he's going to GET PAID!!!.........wait a minute............checks author.........
  11. Seals are in the business of taking sand, water, and pain to break the minds and bodies of tryouts......business is GREAT. If within 3 miles of water always pick seals. I've had dealing with many different groups as a contractor. Two different times I was in real danger. I did not ask for the seals or rangers or the best of all delta. They would to gather up and form a plan of attack that could take hours........ I asked for the Marines, they are legit psychos and don't need any plan or recon. They would go though the problem area without any of that silly "planing" of waiting til dark or calling in a 155 or what they are up against or drone nonsense.
  12. browns are also back to the old browns with what maybe the biggest mistake in the history of the league with trading for tiny towel Watson and giving him 230million, ALL while you had a QB who broke the 30 year curse and wanted to be there in Mayfield. They still have loads of talent, but the trade is the largest mistake since the walker trade. Thing is with Dave, Dan, Evero, and BY is all are super young with most arrows pointing up.....
  13. I've been after Kris Richard since the rhule hire, Im a big fan. He's up there with wilks as DB coaches go.
  14. That's what I feel, bring him back for competition. Between Lewis and Hunt, a few other 3rd stringer would look good too. He still played great coming back form the giants.
  15. He played 5x better than I thought was going to happen and I was a draft Ladd lad. For fugs sakes give him a off-season huddle, remember he was injuried for most of this past, that set him back plenty. Hes a rookie!!! I believe he corrects a few of his issues this coming year, if there's one group this staff knows its WRs. HC Dave was a WR coach for years, OC brad was TBs WR coach, and the current WR coach is a HOFer and proven coach as well. They have all the skills for this group.
  16. This is his one shot at big money, right @kungfoodude .........
  17. I honestly thought Frank, the all-star cast, and rookie BY could content for the NFC south title(run the ball lean on dfense stopping), thus made the play-offs I gave them like a 25% chance, just didn't realize the over all lack of talent even with the FA signees. Now there are some good areas- OL and the OL staff. Chubba. There's a young group of pass catchers that proved they are capable- Coker, sanders and yes XL. Draft capital is back and have 8 picks in the first 160 or so spots(right when the talent falls off). Horn stayed healthy for nearly the whole year(I think if playoffs, horn would still be out there). Defense can only go up after a season of no Dbrown, shaq, and many others missing games. Not that I think they can double up wins next year, but finally there is some form of team here. Dave, Dan, Evero, and BY all have youth and are showing the talents too. All got better this year and there's still plenty of room to continue.
  18. It not over by my mind, but its closer to balanced than I thought possible....
  19. you are right and that's a good point. I've been hard on Dave and BY. Each are young and learning, Im honest in saying I had no hope for the pairing. Each showed at times growth, moxie(lolols), and enough to give me some first feel hope. I was super impressed with the 4th game winning drives that others fail to finish. Both had to deal with poor defense and lack of talent, many times they over came it. Im guilty on all counts.... I'd like to use my panther prayer for judgement please....
  20. Bro I ate the "Hes not tough enough crow last year, same this..." and the "playing better than evar thought capable of" pie this year. Not like Im holding to hope about being right, but this is not over even with the late season spread he laid out. I will happily eat more crow if he continues to play better. I've already joined the "he needs another weapon" group.
