Sweet Jesus, paying off lawyers and "women" after 8 kids.... Just LOLS. It's the same trap they all fall for.....Young and rich, spend that cash on every non-damaging means to not having kids..... then retire at "35" and figure out if you want a family. MYMT

I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games. There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior..... The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....

That why i mentioned the KC dynasty. Those three different playoff loses were not Allens fault, in fact 1-2 plays and Bills win. KC just have better players and better coaches and more luck. Defense-wise, Bills have been trying to crack the Reid-Halhomes magic. Its near impossible with rules and KC home field advantage. Spags has started to force the league in naming him the best DC in NFL history. I agree if you take away Bill bielacheat.... Add in Andy Reid the best QB coach and brilliant play designer/play-caller, I mean that's too much for one QB to over-come on his own. Just trolling or not, bad is bad scot. Allen is legit as any one QB has ever been.

Scot, he just rightfully won the MVP. He had a better cam 2015 season. (those WRs, lols) He's proven. If not for the chiefs dynasty, Allen would have a couple SB MVP on top of the clear MVP. High odds, imo.

Its all done and in the past, 20 20 etc. Just if tepper hired a competent NFL coach or offense staff, they would have picked either Darnold or Mayfield. *then no reason to trade a kings ransom for a rookie QB that isn't burrow, luck, elway, or manning. Then use the 9th pick on Carter and next years 1st overall for trade back haul aka similar to Panthers. Now you have two or three 1st rounders and two-three second rounders all within the top 40. That would should have been the goal.

I'd say Canalas is the true OC and Idzik is just a long for the ride. I mean how can you be the OC and not call GameDay plays form the game plan?? No shame other teams do the same..

Preseason Week 3 - vs. Pittsburgh (practice tweets, discussion, etc)
Basbear replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
The following is a real story- I dropped something I was trying to repair on a carpet area and dropped down on all fours in order to find the piece of plastic. Incoming knee pain, {fug off you're not winning this time!!!} about 1:39 seconds past of which I was in level 9 pain for 1:25 of it. I ended up stretching my MCL and have been limping for 14 days now. I dont even want to lift my leg high enough to put on my reef sandals. It's so pitiful, I may die from the cringe....... -

Career 4-3 guy that turning 31 in Dec, wants fair market value for being the top sack guy for the last couple years............ I don't see the reasons. Just listen to reports and they are legit, so throw out logic, money and cap. Bungals need OL, BAD. IOL BAD https://bengalswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/bengals/2025/08/16/bengals-biggest-weakness-bad-worse-injuries/85690582007/ They could use a RB too. Mays, Blacksheer, Zavala, Kingston, etc. Panthers could move one IOL, one DL/edge and freebee Blacksheer. Toss in Yoshi or Christ as well. Be better if they needed WRs....but they are set there.... I get Panthers want sacks and pressures, just 31 year old with a heavy 42-30 salary per career 4-3 guy on a young team with LT and QB contracts incoming. Just don't see how they can make this work, unless bungals took a sad package of Mays, Zavala, Balcksheer, and Crumedy aka guys in the 45-55 range. I think Panthers 2nd rounder should be off the table, given its a high % that's its low 30s. Panthers can not pay Icky, Motown, BY, Hunt, Horn, Brown, and Hendrickson around 30mill each....bad mathz that 210 million, what 50 million for the remaining 46 players?????? It's doesn't work and that team is still not making the playoffs..... ugh

Pre-season or not, the biggest issue for me is the 1 vs 1. Mainly on the lines, both lines have been getting handled like the Panthers dont have the highest cap hit or they didn't sign turk, brown, and Jones. Doesn't matter 1st, 2nd, 3rd, even 4th string. Panthers players are losing to the man across from them. There are a couple rays of sunshine in Thor(who still gave up recs) and a couple prince plays.

titans claimed him, they have the #1 spot.

Man you picked a good one, the pasted Dwayne Haskins by Redskins was the next pick 15th. I now recall he was "falling" and Daniel made the pick while the coaching staff vomited. They showed his house party and he was just standing there in front of the camera. Drafts have many moments just like that. I thought he was worth the pick and it was great value..... Man, I am barely above Marty hernaiy on draft day...
-
My draft recall is awful poor, I do not know without looking it up. I was reading some draft re-visit piece on 2022, my God that was maybe a all-timer about QB talent. The last pick saved the whole group and even some have questions about if he's a able QB. Corral had me fooled, not he in the sense of "he's a starter/savior" but Id thought he last longer than 2 years out of the league. Im off to lookup that QB Jones draft...
-
tru, I was trying to frame this as draft day mistake. not wait 3 years and everyone knows who's a bust.
-
that's fair. Just don't pick a guy only you would sixth overall, you set back the team years reaching for a mid round QB. daboll was too good for his own once he made Jones look decent. I'll say this too, if not for Jackson, Jones maybe the best running QB. Jones has serious QB wheels.
-
I still remember how happy I was that gettlegut was not the GM once he picked Jones, that was a firing pick and well..... If not for the raiders drafting Clelin Ferrell, it was the biggest draft day mistake in the last 20 some years.

I would take the giants roster over Panthers. Lawrence, 3 OLB/DEs, Thomas, and nabers. Lawrence is better than dbrown and Thomas is better than icky. Panthers don't have one edge that would start over those 3 not matter how people feel about burns. Id believe....I think I would take nabers over the whole WR group....Id need to think about, but I feel it is right or 50/50..... Now after the top 10, Panthers may have claim. Im just not that big of a NFL fan like past time to make a good case. I'd just take giants on their top talent. I will say this, if BY carries this team to the playoffs, he alone would flip this.

I have for too long lacked giving good posting beers, fire, etc. Good post, its beyond prove it time and until then 30s is where they belong.

Renfro has been craving up every panther DB. He does have to remain healthy, just like every other player. XL and Coker seem to be close, just XL was drafted with higher expectations. I mean if XL keeps screwing around while Coker keeps making plays after play, XL will be inactive on game-days. Im glad Panthers finally have enough WR for there to be discussions on GameDay, cuts, and starters. Welcome to the modern NFL, it only took 30 years.....

I got the chances in the single digit, my friend....low singles. The biggest saving grace is the pitiful NFC south. I think the Bucs have won the NFC with 8, 9, and 10 wins for the last three years. That is alllll the proof people need for why this division is the weakest. Helps when you play the Panthers, Siants, and failcons 6 games a year.......
