Delhomme had Smitty, Moose, Walls (underrated), and an actual LT during most of his career. Cam only had Smitty and Gross his rookie year. That helps a lot in a GWD.

I put Stroud but I don't want to give up more than 1 extra first for him (maybe trading up to 3 or so if Levis goes first). If the cost is too high I am ok with staying at 9 for Richardson. Either way I'm happy.

Something like this makes more sense. That way you are at least addressing the loss of Burns in FA and not trying to draft a player to hope they can replace him. Ngakoue isn't on Burns' level, but he can fill in and offset the loss.

The Bengals OL was missing 3 out of the 5 starters though. I'm not so sure the Chiefs have their way with the Eagles healthier OL (I know Johnson is playing injured) like they did with the Bengals. Burrow was hit like 12 times. The Chiefs were also missing some weapons (I want to say they were using their 5th WR towards the end). I am not sure they will be 100% in 2 weeks either. The Eagles didn't have a lot of passing yards I agree. Probably didn't want to stress out Hurts shoulder plus they had a nice lead goin against a backup QB. All they needed to do is just run down the clock about halfway through the send half. They had like 44 carries and were working with a short field. I mean they put up 31 points with very few total yards. I just think the Niners OL is probably better than KC's and the Eagles kind of had their way with them. I'm not saying the Eagles will definitely win, but I think it could be a good game. It's two weeks for Mahomes' ankle and two weeks for Hurts shoulder. I hope they are both as healthy as possible and it's a great game. Looks like it's currently Eagles -2.

You don't see the Eagles winning? I feel like their pressure on a limping Mahomes could be bad news for the Chiefs. Plus the Eagles have a much better OL than the injured Bengals OL.

Oh yeah I agree 100%. I want us to draft a QB and hopefully we address several other needs in FA BEFORE the draft and before we know who our pick is going to be. I see what you are saying and agree. Also if we can't trade up and there isn't a QB we like at 9 we don't need to try to force one. Like you said there are plenty of other needs to address.

So you disagree with Polian that QB should be the top priority? “You’ve got to solve quarterback, No. 1,” Polian said. That's our top mission this offseason. Will the rest of the roster get ignored? No way. There should be free agents and other draft picks added to help address other weaknesses. The way I see it is we went 6-6 with Darnold and Wilks (yeah it was mostly against bad competiton, but that's part of the game). Upgrade the HC and QB (may take a year or more to install a new system and develop a QB), but we should have a nice start of being a competitive team. Once your QB is landed it seems easier to trade down/acquire more picks/sign veterans IMO.

I don’t think anyone is doubting an upgrade at those positions would help. “You have to solve the QB, No. 1.” Is what most of us are saying which aligns with that quote you posted. You add weapons/skill players to compliment your QB once you have one.

Burrow was down 3 starting OL. You don’t think that affected his play? I mean it was what 12 QB hits on him. This time of year injuries are part of it.

What did Burrow do to you man? I’m pretty neutral on this game but both QBs are fun to watch.

Tim DeMorat at QB from Fordham is an interesting small school guy. I haven’t heard much about him but he threw 56 TDs last year.

It’s a one score game despite the Bengals getting dominated in the first half. It was the right call IMO.
