Riley Leonard at Notre Dame now is an interesting one to watch also. I’d also take half of those over 24 year old Nix who sucked until he transferred out west in a wide open Oregon offense in a division where they play no defense.

If we could magically walk away with Ladd, JPJ, and a 2nd next year I would be all for it. I doubt those players will be available at those picks though....

Is Robinson NT or DE for us? He is a great run stuffer too. I kind of want him at NT and Tuttle over to DE. Tuttle is undersized for NT. Throw in Wonnum and Clowney on the edge and our run defense SHOULD look better.

I wasn't for it. I thought he played "meh" at Oregon based on expectations. I was wrong, but I still think he is slightly overrated.

Yeah something like that could work. I bet he wants more than $15 mill for one year. Especially with the cap going up. Maybe if he is still doing great in our new scheme we look at extending him next year? I still think it’s a possibility this year but only if we need it. If some player becomes available we really want maybe we look at his contract then?

I mean if you extend him, he will still want his money from his contract plus more to play more years IMO. I’m ok with just taking it in the chin this year if we have to.

I hope someone like Penix is still there and it’s a small bidding war for him.

It was never high end but they are saying it’s average now, which seems more accurate. I think it’s probably below the average QB but it also gets overblown on here. Somewhere between the average fan and the Huddle sounds right.

I think most teams want a good running game. It’s safe time controlling offense than can wear down a defense. Wanting a strong running game doesn’t mean you don’t like or trust your QB. Ravens, Niners, Lions, Dolphins (3 of which were in the conference finals) all averaged over 130 per game which was towards the top. He paid out for 2 solid OGs. He wants to develop that pocket and keep the defense off balance. It’s also a good way to develop your young QB and get him comfortable before opening up the offense. Who knows it Canales will achieve this goal, but it does look to be a goal he is working on.

Yeah I believe the 2nd half of the season it was much better. He stayed committed to it and it paid off.

To go from the worst roster/team in the league to 6-11 in one offseason is solid to me. 2 wins to 6 would be tracking better than Dan Campbell's quick turn around for the Lions. 6 wins to me means we are looking at possibly a winning season the next year or a playoff push. If we are doing that in 2025 then Canales is legit.

I’m kind of wanting us to just build a complete roster. If Bryce sucks still we can replace him, but let’s give whoever is QB something to work with.

from 2 to 5 wins is a solid improvement. I've been saying if we can get 6 wins it will be a highly successful season. If Bryce looks much better that would just be gravy on the top.

He does kind of look like Stroud from that angle. Which, I’d be all for him working out with Stroud as well. Pick his brain some Anyone trying to run someone off for a difference of opinion has issues. Different opinions are what keeps people engaged and debating on here. I think people get annoyed if it’s the same opinion over and over on every thread. That borderlines the “trolling” type @MillionDollarCam was referring too IMO. Be honest if Young was posting him throwing with his WRs on social it would just be a “fluff piece” or “PR stunt” as I believe you called it from last offseason. Personally I don’t care if it’s public or more private as long as he is trying to better himself and the team. I hope he gets to where he needs to be for us to find success. If not we simply move on.

It's far from the truth, but that's been your thing lately. That's not Stroud... It's ISM who is young WR on his roster. Working out with him and training with him. Just another one I came across on social. The previous one had Mingo and you shot it down too. It's fair to reasonably question his ability, but he is trying to make it work IMO. Whether it does or not shall be seen.

I know you want to put people in certain corners because they might have a different opinion than yours but try to keep that mess out of here please. On a side note here is another “PR stunt” of Bryce working with ISM this offseason.

If JPJ falls to 33, he should be the pick to solidify the OL. Grab a WR at 39 and our offense should have a decent foundation.
