  1. Damn that 30 yard potential TD pass to Tremble hit him on the hands. I thought it was deflected watching it live. That honestly was one of Young’s better passes.
  2. I’m not sure he has had a pretty long list of them lately…
  3. I’m just glad he is showing the Lions weren’t playing prevent in the 4th. It was the same man disguised Cover 3 they were running most of the game. Dan Campbell isn’t one to let off the gas. Our offense looked better because Reich had to call plays to force it down the field do to the score. Open up the playbook and run some quick no huddle offense.
  4. He shelled out a lot of money for Caldwell to be an offensive consultant and the offense looks like poop.
  5. And I’m sure you are smart enough to know most rookie QBs aren’t putting up Dalton’s 370 plus passing 2 TD 0 INT game. Hell even record breaking Stroud only passed that yard total once this year and has never had more that 2 TDs in a game. If you want to just looks at stats and not context like the 58 pass attempts and shell of a Seahawks secondary that’s what you are left with. You don’t think by week 9 or 10 Tua was playing at 100%?
  6. Was he cleared to play? Yeah I think he was. Looks like Tua played 10 games that year.
  7. The same reason Fitzpatrick looked better than Tua his rookie year. There is a learning curve and most rookie QBs start off below that of a 10 year starter.
  8. Man I remember ole Fitzmagic coming in for Tua and looking better his rookie year. He had to be up there in age as well.
  9. He threw the ball 58 times and had more yards. What was his average 6.2??? I think Young has been 6.0 and 6.4 is past two games. I mean they were down 17 points with 4 minutes left. It wasn't some great offensive performance. The best thing he did was not turn the ball over which makes sense with a veteran. Is Dalton a better QB that Young right now? Of course he is as he should be at this point in his career vs Young's. I don't think anyone is arguing differently. Your reverse tactics are nice, but as I stated EVERYONE has a narrative. Some people just like calling others out while pretending they don't have one as well.
  10. He is saying our whole offense is too dysfunctional to write off Young based on these first few weeks. That seems like a more than reasonable observation/statement. I posted a much more in depth tweet from him about our whole situation last week and I agree. I also agree with commentators saying Young hasn't looked like the top pick. We threw the ball 58 times with Dalton on the road. That's a good way to pad some stats but also lose the game which we did. Dalton is also winless with this roster and he is a 10 plus year starter/vet in this league.
  11. Kiper love Clausen, Simms loved Wilson, they are all going to have misses. I'm just saying clinging to the time they were wrong when they have a different opinion that your's is definitely trying to create a narrative. Something you are accusing others of doing. Just seems a little ironic to be as everyone on here and in sports does this.
  12. It's just another perspective in a sea of people being down on Young/Carolina. You calling out one of the times he was wrong (as every analyst is at some point) in an attempt to make him less credible would be you trying to spin your narrative on it would it not? Everyone has a narrative to spin, no one is purely neutral.
  13. Here he is being more direct last week about the Panthers and Young.
  14. After he shook off his 2nd turnover and let loose he look way better and definitely flashed some potential. He was also passing it down the field. If we could get that play out of him consistently plus an actual running game things will start looking a lot better.
  15. I think he is broken. He hinted at someone being on meth for saying most QBs need talent around them to be successful.
  16. I really like him as a HC. He is weird as hell, but knows his poo. I'm pretty jealous....
  17. It's the one that JT was pretty high one. Great anticipation, threw it to exactly where AT (or number 19 as he called him) was going to be and led him perfectly in the hands. It's funny The Huddle was pretty excited about it at the time. Now you are down on Young so you are seeing the exact play in a different light.
  18. I don't think Burns wants to be hear anymore. We might as well trade him off for a decent return.
  19. That last play of preseason where he threw the TD to AT looked like a 15 yard out and it was pretty damn accurate. I don't recall seeing too many ran during the reason season in general.
  20. So a first and a third for Burns? The third also has some chemistry with our new QB. It's not a terrible deal, just try to ignore the Rams offer last year.
  21. It’s almost like there are multiple examples of busts and great QBs that struggled early. That just means it’s simply too early to know how Young will end up in his career.
