A Perspective of the Roster (Red Meat to chew on)
NAS replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
We’re about to be extremely active in free agency. Have to add a lot of pieces but don’t expect huge signings but a lot of good ones just to get us respectable on defense. There simply isn’t enough draft capital to close the gaps and we need to stick to our BPA strategy . -
Yeah I don't see the comparison.
-
It also helps that Bryce was masterful at moving inside the pocket, making quick decisions and avoiding pressure
-
Get the man some talent to work with
-
If the dude couldn’t be happy with the Chiefs he won’t be happy anywhere
-
I love the chemistry and culture that’s coming together on this team. Listen to Jaycee Horn talk about his conversation with Bryce Young after the game. I can't wait for next season
-
A stain is a bit harsh. 2025 will prove if he was right to retain him or not.
-
Even Zavala looked good lol
-
Bryce Young - 89.3 Taylor Moton - 81.7 Cade Mays - 81.4 Ikem Ekwonu - 73.0 Chandler Zavala - 72.9

Amy word on Raheem Morris? I am shocked he hasn’t gotten fired
-
I am not that shocked, he really was playing with hands tied due to personnel issues, I am OK with having some continuity and see what he can do with an upgraded and healthy roster
-
Not a good cultural fit, he is all about himself and his stats
-
Only retread I would go for is Robert Salah
-
I’m not a fan of retreads, would rather go with a young and promising assistant and ensure it doesn’t screw up the power dynamics with Canales
-
I think it’s been modified to “Young Reap”, courtesy of Hunt
-
Most teams get good ones early , Panthers just historically suck at it
-
Exactly they took a calculated risk and it worked out because we got a 4th rd pick for Mingo

Bryce Young's first 20 games: 352-of-592, 3,176 yards, 11 TD, 13 Int, 71.0 rating, 68 sacks Bryce Young's last 10 games: 197-of-319, 3,104 yards, 15 TD, 6 Int, 101.9 rating, 23 sacks

Glad to see him show up today, especially in the second half. 7 receptions on 7 targets for 62 yards and made some tough catches in crucial situations. I kind of wish he scored that TD in OT, would have capped an amazing performance. What a gem Morgan found

Completed to 9 different receivers!
-
Fair point but I think finding nose tackles is harder AND if you come across a big offensive line you’re toast against the run
-
I am of the same mindset, 4-3 is easier to find personnel even if it does limit some options in pass defense
