  1. That was such a BS attempt to get him to slide... Tet is going to be a true pro
  2. I'm kind of excited that there are still plenty of talented rushers available in the 2nd round, just hope we were picking higher. I wouldn't mind us trading up if possible especially if there's a run on edge rushers.
  3. The more he talks the better I feel about the pick. The fact that Bryce went out of his way to campaign for him is a huge plus. Btw I was pleasantly surprised how much he knows about the Panthers players and coaching staff. Apparently he does watch football after all
  4. Morgan kept talking about Tet’s hands and body control, things that XL struggled with
  5. I wish there was a way to trade up for Green
  6. Why did Jalon have to be picked by the Falcons damn
  7. I am warming up to the pick, Rams willing to trade up for Tet is a good sign. But I hope we go all defense for the rest of the draft
  8. I really don't want Green going to one of our division rivals, he may be the best of the bunch when it's all said and done, his previous off the field issues and not being on a better program are the only reasons he isn't discussed more in the top 10
  9. No way we pick Jalon Walker if Mason Graham is still on the board
  10. True, the only exception was Luke Kuechly in 2012, rookie of the year and was a top 10 player that year at his position easily. DB wasn't top 10, CMC wasn't top 10 in their rookie years, etc. Whoever is drafted needs to have an immediate impact though, especially on a defense that is severely depleted.
  11. There's still hope for Bryce, he needs a better defense and another weapon this offseason
  12. If you’re depending on a defensive scheme to justify a pick, chances are that player is not worth the top 10 pick a true talent can shine in any scheme
  13. Interesting segment about Panthers being in a potential sweet spot for trading down. In his comments, Chris Simms suggests that Jalon Walker is the most overrated player in the draft and that they should trade down because Abdul Carter is the only elite prospect. That seems a bit harsh but I have to admit Jalon does scare me as a potential bust and I would rather trade down and pick up a guy that maybe didn't have the production but has a more typical NFL size as a pass rusher. https://www.nbcsports.com/watch/nfl/profootballtalk/carolina-panthers-open-to-trading-down-if-team-wants-to-jump-before-saints
  14. If the choice isn't obvious and there's someone you really like who is projected to be available later then you trade down
  15. I will be disappointed with anything less than 8 wins this year
  16. BPA only makes sense if you're on a loaded roster. Way too many holes for Panthers to not also focus on need. That said, you have to take into account both value and depth of that specific position in the draft
  17. Watch the Eagles draft him and get even scarier on defense. He’s even better than Abdul Carter
