They wanted somebody for that Saturday slot, and both games yesterday ending in 6 moved us to Saturday. Wouldn't be surprised if it's like a Saturday, Tuesday, Thursday/Friday setup for us with the lightning Canadians going to game 7. Doubt they want us playing 2 games before the buffalo vs lightning/Canadians play game 1

I'm actually surprised the Panthers were even interested in Stowers since he has no chance of ever being a Y TE. I do think they were interested in the likes of Delp and Raridon, but they didn't want to use a day 2 pick on either of them (which I understand). Was hoping we could have gotten Raridon in round 4, but it is what it is. This is probably the best I have felt about a draft for the Panthers in a very long time

Not sure I would go that far. While I would be surprised if the flyers or penguins beat us, the lightning, Canadians, or Sabres could very easily beat us with the talent they all have

Other things - I agree could get him fired one day. However, not drafting a tight end this year is not going to be any reason. DC couldn't really do much with how many of the tight ends most of us figured would be around day 3 went day 2. Tight ends I would have liked for us to get day three like Delp, Roush, and Raridon went in the 3rd. I think we were smart not joining that tight end Rush and instead focused on a receiver that was great value where we got him in the 3rd round.

Pretty much what I figured - if Canales is drafting a tight end, they better be a proven inline tight end because that is what he wants in a TE

Is the fact that our boys didn't take crap and fought right back at the cheap shots Ottawa did. Definitely gives us a lot of options at who we keep at WR. Gonna be an interesting camp battle for WRs 5 and 6 (I'm assuming XL is safe if he isn't traded). Tremayne, Metchie, and Moore are all 1 year deals. So it isn't the worst thing in the world if we have to cut any of them. Hopefully we keep Tremayne and let Metchie and Horn battle it our for the last receiver spot.

Round 4 - hopefully LB (Elarms-Orr or Lawson), edge (Josephs), or corner (Scott, Abney, Muhammad)
