  1. Anyone getting cam Ward vibes winning us a Stanley cup out of Bussi? Dude's been great for 1 1/3 games so far
  2. So what you are saying is Bryce should donate half of his salary to Mays. I agree
  3. Hopefully he covers Mason Taylor... He's probably the jets best weapon that isn't breece
  4. I wish that was the excuse he could use (dancing around scared of getting sacked). But how the coaches haven't drilled in his head to step forward into his throws (so that way his passes have some strength and so he doesn't sail it over the receivers head) is crazy to me. He doesn't have the Cam arm strength to get away with crappy footwork. He honestly should have been benched until that got sorted out. It would be like a golfer having all kinds of mechanical issues in his golf swing and being like screw it, I can win the Masters instead of having his swing analyzed and figuring out where he is screwing up in the swing and fixing it...
  5. I know it was the Cowboys, but Nijman looked good at RT against the Cowboys IMO (no idea what his made-up PFF score is). Not sure if he is just quicker moving to his right or stronger blocking to the right, but it was a night and day difference from his JAX LT game. Keep Corbett as a backup and put him in if there is an injury to Mays, Lewis, or BC. No way you can change the oline with how great they looked against the Cowboys (unless Moton is healthy enough to play).
  6. His (literal) Achilles heel is the dude refuses to throw off his front foot and tries to throw Kobe fadeaways for no freaking reason... He actually threw off his front foot in the Dallas game a few times and those were some of his best looking throws of the season.
  7. I mean.. Considering the fact Moton & Icky have missed a game + Hunt has missed most of the season, can't say I am surprised with the low pass block win rate. Honestly, Zavala & the JAX game where Nijman was at LT are probably the biggest contributors to the low pass block win rate (Zavala definitely struggled pass blocking when he was out there). Corbett probably hurt the rating also, since he looked much worse than Mays.
  8. Sadly, he was one of the few guys that actually had a sack... Should be a good battle of movable force meets stopable object when our pass rush meets the Jet's pass protection
  9. Really impressed how the bottom six have looked the past couple games
  10. Hard to call it a trap game when we opened up as underdogs to the winless Jets... It's more like a bad team is playing an even worse team and who knows how it will go
  11. I'm pretty sure the Bears would have to eat a lot of money if they traded him away. I don't see them trading him unless he demands one
  12. Before the Cowboys game, I would have said but BC at RT and Corbett at RG once he comes back. After watching how good Nijman played at RT Sunday (granted, the Cowboy's Dline isn't good), Corbett can serve as depth whether Moton can suit up or not.
  13. Yep - honestly though, I thought his coverage was as good as you could possibly do on a man coverage crossing route with Dak having all day to throw. Dak made a perfect throw and if it wasn't in front of Pickens, it could have easily been picked off. Seemed like we ran more man than I have seen our defense run so far this year. Defense also did a great job of playing their gap/zone responsibilities (even if Dak did pick apart our zone a good chunk of the game) - that screen play on the last drive could easily have gone for a touchdown if Moehrig didn't play his zone and make a great tackle. Biggest complaint about Evero was not blitzing a few more times (especially when Dallas was in the red zone). The few times we did it, Dak didn't look comfortable.
  14. I think all personal fouls (late hit, roughing the passer, etc.) should all be reviewed when called on the field. And these are reviews that shouldn't take very long - that awful roughing the passer call could have very easily lost us the game.
  15. Glad Bryce played a good game, but let's be real - the 2025 cowboys defense is about as terrible as our defense last year...
  16. Almost sounds like our game against the cowboys today...
  17. Damn.... Anyone else feel like Skip Bayless is getting ready to give up on life? I guess losing to the Panthers will do that to you
  18. While also playing every game at home for the rest of the season...
  19. My guess is because we run so much zone, it's not worth trying to get horn lined up against the other team's best receiver if they are on the opposite side. Honestly, the couple of plays horn did match up with him, he didn't do a great job against Pickens either. It was the rare stinker from both horn and Jackson in my opinion
  20. Not sure if it was his best, but he made few mistakes today and his one turnover was Tet's fault. We desperately need him to play mistake free like this the rest of the year
  21. I was very impressed with the cuts Rico made today. I think there were a few runs that would have gone for like 2-3 yards that turned into 10 yard runs because of his cut backs.
  22. The real question... Is he happy enough to pour a beer on an opposing teams fan?
  23. Our identity: run the ball and then run the ball some more+ shut down the run on defense
  24. I usually only bet the Panthers to cover at maximum twice a year when: 1) we play the falcons at home 2) we play the Cardinals Otherwise, it's a no bet or a bet against Carolina
