  1. Is it just me or is the truly bold move the signing of Lamar Jackson? The draft is the draft. There is a true young franchise QB accepting offers rn….
  2. saving this artwork for my annual undefeated season projection in August.
  3. Rodgers can still play high level ball but his ego and his contract are two huge anchors that will chill any trades. I only see retirement or release in his packer future but media and packer fans will drag out the drama.
  4. Am I the only one seeing Ramsey as totally overrated? I know no CB is 100% but in big moments and big games I saw him fail many times.
  5. I think Fields has a chance to continue to develop but....it's still just a chance. If you are going to roll the dice on developing a QB do it where you get the guy for five years. And with a guy that requires a single draft pick. I don't blame the draft guys though, we have a storied history of going the retread route. This year is different, right?
  6. Listening to Greg and watching Kelce and Goedert make big play after big play had me both reminiscing and wondering how early we target a TE in the draft or FA. Can Tremble be that guy? I saw a few plays this year that raised my hopes but a TE really has to earn trust and be on the field for running downs also to be the effective safety valve for championship style offenses that we saw last night. Should we invest pick 39 in a TE or go after the TE's from Dallas or Miami? Tremble will be on the roster but not sure who else. Does Fitt plan on elevating Tremble or elevating a vet FA? I am assuming Thomas is gone?
  7. I would hope our team learns from niners to have depth in QB room and learns from Watson and potential Lamar deals that the path to success is drafting your guy and developing him. You can’t send off 3years of draft picks, guarantee $200M contracts to a single player AND build a team.
  8. I understand why people don't like Wilson but the man proved many times that he can win football games. If Payton can find anything under all that fakeness the broncos could jump back sooner than expected. Odds aren't good and I'm rooting against it but get ready to hear all about it to start out season 2023.
  9. working on wishing him the best personally versus wishing the niners die a slow painful death.
  10. Great reads that went into detail. Yet neither included the Nicole Tepper lack of training gaff. Couldn't that have cost the Panthers a great deal? Could it still cost? Tells you how close these sources were to Tepper Enterprises that everything about the process came out "except" that detail.
  11. legality is new concept for me, had not considered. In this new endeavor the "content" is not where I'd be initially competitive. In other words, I would be utilizing the value of the forum to drive traffic so had focused there. I see where I would have to educate myself to make sure I was not violating any copyrights thanks again! Need a side gig?
  12. Very astute! maybe not a "hot topic" but it was noticed and talked about. I admire him for being so consistent, that's why I asked.
  13. great input, thank you! Definitely do not have subscriptions in mind until much, much later. And I have plans for content to go along with the forum, but I am counting on the forum to drive traffic and members. Thanks again!
  14. Thank you!! I would pie you but are you still not using the pie feature yourself?
  15. It's nice to have a few teams that make the Panthers front office look competent. Thank you raiders and colts. The Carr situation is hilarious. They deserve all the heat coming their way. And the fact that a Pro Bowl flag football game could trigger a $40M guarantee is beyond funny (if it is not your team!) And the more time passes the more you realize Irsay wants Saturday. Any other teams to follow to help me feel good about our Panthers?
  16. PhillyB got banned? damn. tell everyone you stay out of TB without having to tell anyone you stay out of TB alt(s)?
  17. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/lamar-jackson-turns-down-250-million-extension-from-ravens Lamar is a great player and person and teammate. But giving up draft picks AND guaranteeing a quarter Billion is the way to concrete over the top of our deepening grave. We are finally on the right path of having some talent and getting a head coach to develop a QB and have a decent stockpile of draft picks. Work with what we have and keep building. Avoid shortcuts.
  18. Thanks again. Interesting that I could not see it due to an advertisement covering the bottom of page! (note to self) Do you guys think the days of internet forums are done? I am reading several articles that Facebook and Reddit have made them obsolete. And that the political climate has made it very tough to moderate boards (we are on "exhibit A") and also successful forums are targets for spam and hackers. I initially thought a good way to build some passive income would be to go the ecommerce route but the good one's are so dependent on Amazon and really over priced or just sell crap so I am thinking building a site is way to go. I don't have the skillz but a family member does, I just have to make the decision and pull the $ trigger so curious what you think.
  19. I have limited website knowledge but know someone building a discussion forum site, much like this one. I sent a DM to Igo about what software he utilizes but thought I'd ask for help here. Any advice or directions appreciated!
  20. yes there is something new. Gambling on outcomes has been not only legitimized but invested in. And not only invested in but invested in by team ownership. Typically on a thread like this I would be pie-ing posts like yours. I rolled my eyes at game-fixing in SB50 and other Panther games. But I have a feeling something has really changed in the last year or two and I don't mind at all hearing the NFL called out on it.
  21. I chimed in to the thread because OP was presenting topic that is legit and posters attacking and ridiculing the very idea that the league they love could be affected by anything other than on-field performance seems naive from my point of view. I want to encourage the conversation (on both sides) because IF true it will affect my decision to continue as a fan. I hope you and others are right and this is making a mountain out of a mole hill but something hasn't felt right about the NFL for a while and not only legitimizing gambling but having owners invest in gambling is betting on a lot of people being sheep. The house wins again.
