  1. https://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/gm-report/grading-the-panthers-49ers-christian-mccaffrey-trade Schuyler Callihan: C+ I disagree with the decision to trade McCaffrey as I believe it will somewhat hinder the search for the next head coach. That said, the Panthers get a nice haul of draft picks in return. Anytime you can trade a running back that has been injury prone for four picks, you need to take that deal, especially in this situation where the Panthers are going absolutely nowhere. Ian Black: A This feels like a really solid return when taking McCaffrey’s talent, contract, and tread on the tires. Two top-100 picks and a couple day three picks doesn’t have the shiny look of a 1st rounder, but this should help refill a cupboard missing a few pieces. CMC has been nothing but a class act in Charlotte and will always be loved by fans. The time just came for the two sides to part ways and do what was best for their respective futures.
  2. especially when you know Tepper ain't putting in grass but seriously, other properties nearby, and with similar history, have been redeveloped. It is expensive but not prohibitive. Especially for a new stadium.
  3. Can we update draft forum to "2023" now?
  4. Actually, I've never felt more sympatico with the Huddle. Carry on.
  5. The Huddle Hate for torpedoing our draft position would be too large of an obstacle to overcome. Next!
  6. How much more franchise/fan energy do we want to waste on Rhule? I'm more than ready to move on. Right after I post this.
  7. I was lucky (I thought) to be gifted 50 yard line, row 2 seats for the Browns opener. The main takeaway I remember is not the excitement of the comeback and then the pain at the end, it was the body language of the players during practice, warm-ups and even intro's and before the first snap. But I also felt more manipulated than normal by stadium operations, and that is saying something. There is no soul in BOA and that is on Tepper, Rhule. #cleanhouse
  8. I was not on the "Fire Rhule" train going into this season. And I don't fool myself that my opinion matters but I can no longer see Rhule fixing this team. The most discouraging thing I witnessed live and in person yesterday is that the problem is not just Rhule. With the mistakes that Tepper's organization demonstrates this team is not set up for success and will keep flailing. Stadium operations are amateur hour with poor sound, lame graphics with mistakes in timing and a stadium filled with opposition fans is deflating to both fans and players. Not sure how a college coach gets the player body language I witnessed on the sidelines in the first half of a season opener but what is the point of even having the flavor of the month college coach if you can't motivate your team to be professionals in the first half of a home opener? Tepper needs to dump whoever is running his stadium operations and anyone related to that position. He needs to not only embrace The Roaring Riot but expand that vision. No one is going to get rid of those pasty, fat, ugly opposition fans that buy tickets to our games right away but at least do something to encourage Panther fans to come in and replace them.
  9. Watching warm ups and no issues I can see IMG_2815.MOV
  10. 17-0 A little different than my predictions in years past. But just by one game.
  11. I get that everyone gets to vote with their $. It’s not like The Roaring Riot is a 501c either. But the great thing about the Roaring Riot is their commitment to build up this fan base. $hit like this and the Keep Pounding fiasco and Rock Hill proves how out of touch Tepper Sports is with building a real fan base. Maybe it’s because Tepper himself is just another imported fan of “x” team who moved to the Carolinas and wants to play around at being a fan. Tepper should be kissing the ground that Roaring Riot members and Carolina Huddlers and Carolina Huddlers Alts walk on or hire the right people to get that done.
  12. sjcollins, didn't you play in the old mega huddle leagues too?
  13. With so many alt's though who keeps up? I know I have no idea who chuck is now. (no spoilers) I'd support and join if needed to fill out a league because I know how much work is involved. But I would not be the first on board. Will follow thread.
  14. haha!  Thank you for the opportunity to share!  Took a lot of self-control to limit them!

Hope you are doing well.  I used to post here as PntherPryd but could not stand being a mod and no one would ever respond to my attempts to quit.... so I had to make an alt in order to quit and just check in every now and then!

No, life got in the way!  I played in a couple without managing them and then lost interest.  Maybe one day though!

  15. He has a personality but that clip in Camp Confidential was a head-shaker for me. At this level we really have to "test" players with a 5 easy question on how many yards the ball has to travel on a kickoff? I know it was an early am meeting but they really had to edit it to show any player interaction. And the part about betting what time as assistant would drag his ass in was cringe-worthy, one-sided and smelled like scripted filler.
  16. Rhule set the noose height himself going into preseason when he made such a big deal about Baker and Icky not being handed starting positions. I made an error insinuating those reps were “gifts”. PJ’s practice performance earned those reps forcing Rhule to be consistent.
  17. They are playing Walker so he can get tape and get picked up. Treating a good soldier right keeps locker room tight. Corral is not going anywhere. Including PS
  18. Anybody want some cheap Buffalo tickets?
