  1. Hayden Hurst agrees. Hope this mistake corrects itself at the end of the season.
  2. We are quickly becoming an extra bye week for our opponents. Making career days for backups across the League - that’s the “way of the Panthers”
  3. Believe me, his blocking is not much better than his receiving. This guy is an underachiever that s/h never been re-signed considering lack f production and off-the-field indiscretions at the time. Another of the countless ways Rhule screwed us.
  4. I’d say we’d have at least 1 win under our belts, maybe we’d be 2-3 but no better. Most of our issues have been on the offensive side of the ball, even before the injuries started piling up.
  5. Prayers up for Zavala. Glad it wasn’t as serious as we feared. Regarding his play on the me field, he showed much better standing in at RG than when he was switched to the left side. It can’t be easy for a rookie to make an adjustment from playing one side of the line to the other so early in the season and without sufficient reps (remember he was limited in TC due injury), even if it was the position he played in college. That said, this may injury be a blessing in disguise, as Mays played better @ LG and “Doc Throck” has filled in capably @ RG, which means we don’t have to rush Corbitt back until he’s healthy.
  6. Yet another game watching Henderson getting toasted.
  7. Exactly. Tepper’s lack of impulse control and patience is a big reason we’re in this mess. Joe Person’s article in The Athletic stated the Panthers should embrace a rebuild (which IMO we should’ve done after Rivera was fired), but the man doesn’t appear to have a long term vision for the team. Just win NOW.
  8. And they will probably do it by running the early and often on our porous run D.
  9. Yeah it’s been a domino effect of errors since Tepper bought the team. We just can’t seem to get out of our own way.
  10. Meanwhile Sam Howell (who we should’ve taken last year instead of out of the league Matt Corral) is looking like a gamer guiding the Commandos to a tying score against the Eagles. Thanks Tepper!
  11. New staff, new QB, same old Panthers’ predictable, conservative Jr high offense
  12. WR most definitely. Another RB or TE can’t hurt either but only if it’s a late rounder. On defense, another CB and more depth is needed for the annual Jaycee Horn-2-IR saga and the potential losses of DJax and Henderson. We have a lot of holes to fill.
  13. Couldn’t agree with you more. But injuries in the secondary mean he stick around. He should definitely be his last season here.
  14. The Vikings come to town @ 0-3. There is a sliver of hope. Maybe….
  15. From the looks of it we’re sure going to give it a try.
  16. I’ve never seen this many false start penalties in one quarter.
  17. Neither do I but that’s what I saw. Marshall appeared to hesitate on his route and that gave Bates the opportunity to jump the route. I’m sure Young and the receivers will get on the same page as the season progresses. However, Marshall needs to do a better job with his route running; there were at least three occasions where hesitation or stopping on his routes caused an INT or incompletion IMO.
  18. Turnovers and poor tackling. Hill, Burns, Brown and Shaq made some good hits but overall Robinson and Allgeier made us look foolish. Got to clean that aspect of our game asap.
  19. Think you said it best - he’s a good complementary back. He’s good at finding holes to sprint through. Our problem is we need a lead back with a good blend of power and speed and Sanders ain’t it.
