Some good value at CB, DT and RB.

Bowman is the only remaining safety that I feel is a good with w/Moehrig

Maybe Strong, Tuten, Peebles - the triple hokie haha

Peebles is off my hokie list. I want Lane, tuten (my fav of the bunch), and ok with strong.

Strong is a hit or miss: you put him in zone and he's going to look great. Ask him to cover outside and he's going to give up huge plays down field. He's great when he has help over the top, but doesn't have the recovery speed unfortunately. But damn if he's facing the QB, he's money. I wouldn't want him on speedy slots though. He is a willing tackler too. Comes up and can support in the run game and blitz too. I am afraid he's not quite the athlete to really standup as a slot guy early and that limits his career. Now could be a ST ace.

Lane was underutilized. I don't think his track speed always shows on tape. If he gets a runway sure he's gone. Routes are ok but teachable. As a returner he was very good. Again get him a crease and he can flat fly. Big enough to be a true speedy slot guy in the NFL.

Now tuten, if he was at a blue blood he'd be gone. Great vision and patience as a runner. What shocked was the explosion and speed. He was injured allot at VT so the tape showed the combine numbers only at times. Much improved as a receiver out of the backfield. Getting a lb on him on a wheel route equalled big chunks. Mediocre as a pass blocker but much improved. Kickoff and put return strengths too. My issues are health. Never 100% as the seasons wore on. Historically VT has had good backs, that never translate for long due to health. As a Blackshear replacement his is an upgrade for sure. I don't think he's a 3 down back but gets 20 snaps a game cause i don't trust the health. Now could he spot start and get 50+ snaps and 20+ carries for a stretch sure, but I wouldn't want to rely on him as the #1 guy for a season.

Looks like they're high on Shemar Stewart and Mykel Williams as well, though I can see them getting the nod over Ez + JPJ because the former have clear bull rushes and whether or not the latter can convert speed-to-power vs. grown men playing OT in the NFL we'll just have to wait and see. Glad to see JT round out the top 8. Surprised that they've got Swinson and Powell-Ryland as low as they do.

As a VT fan, powell-ryland isn't a guy I'd put very high on an NFL list. I'm nervous the development path is minimal and he's maxed out physically. I don't see a 3 down guy there.

Savion jones is the untapped potential guy. He's worth a look as that's rare size speed and length. I get it, the production isn't there. But he'd be a solid guy that late (4th) that sticks for all downs in multiple systems.

Diggs is a guy that might stick 3 downs in a 3-4 as an OLB. He's built longer than APR so I get why APR is so low on this list. He's like APR that he's older for the class and worry the potential jump is smaller than some of the others.

Ovi going to break the goal scoring record against the Canes. 10 goals to go and we play them in 13 games and 16 games.

Ovi tied the great one at home tonight. F' NYI and hope that he gets it there, but if not, the next home game for the caps is against the canes this week.

  4. Wanted before the combine. Wanted to trade back to get him. This class is weak and would totally consider a safety at 8. Cover safety who can also play in the box as a LB even.

Damn, Tuten will be long gone by then.  He made a ton of money today!

    4.32 forty (#1)

    41” vertical (#1)

    10-yard (#1)

    Broad Jump (#2)

    Snatch him please Panthers!

    VT BABY!!!

He's gone. I doubt he last mid now which sucks. Wanted Herbert and got Blackshear who was blah at VT.

Tuten is great and the speed was on tape.

  6. Jaylin Lane come on down. As one of what the 4 VT fans on this board, I can say the tape matches the results. He is gonna be a steal. Love to grab him. Now tuten was my sleeper pick at rb. A few crazy folks had him in round 1 and as a VT fan I thought it was crazy. But he went bananas this week. And the production was there, but he never stayed healthy and VT RBs get used up before the NFL.

  7. Ladd got hands on it. Right through them. Ball definitely tumbled into the DB

It was high though. Cause Herbert had pressure and over reacted to in his face

Wow it's like a 30 yard difference lol because my original statement would still apply without the busted play you still subtract the 77 yards of them finishing that drive 🤣 which isn't even taking into account the moment change.

You must really have a sad life with these weird arguments.

Says the guy going if if if?

  9. Just like the cfb playoffs leads a quick drive to end a half. Real kicker got it done to end this 1st half. He doesn't run often but showed how he really can when he wants. Stroud is the guy.

Draft replacement. Let Moton walk and potentially get a comp pick? Seems like a good idea to me.

i know others already chimed in, but yeah im there too. at some point its going to happen. having 4 or all 5 guys up front making bank hurts the rest of the team. they are great, but need some funds spread on over to the defense so we dont get run over all year after year

  11. zack wilson. all the talent in the world and a terrible jets org messed up another one. he's a long term reclamation project. maybe just maybe Sean Payton already got 1 year of that done. id still think he needs another 1 or 2 before he might actually be ready cause the jets set him back from his college days. yes that how bad the jest have proven to be with QBS (wilson sandwiched in between darnold and rodgers)
