can we pump the brakes just a bit. loved the rico signing as a stop gap 1b, but this is also against 2 teams that have been absolute ass against the run all year long.  

Oh the game winning drive bullshit stat is back? One of the most useless garbage stat as it tells nothing of the rest of the game,  or a players actual play on the "magical" drive, nor what happens after this game winning drive. Its a terrible metric that started here 2-3 years ago on here with people trying to rationalize someone's play down to a single drive and disregard everything else. It was weak then, and it's as weak as it was then. Let's do better.

Drafting Bryce Young was the biggest mistake. Isn't like Adam T is lighting it up with 4 while receptions on the year and 37 yards. That missing production is really killing us here........

It gets worse too. Since he started the defense regressed. Especially linebacker, his specialty. The who defense regressed, but it's without doubt the worst LB corp I've seen at VT. 

I doubt they have the same level of guys jumping ship right now as last year: last year the good starters left, and they have maybe 2 guys worth a damn to be picked. So this group is young and moldable for the next guys to use. 

But in a time of P2 and a wantabe P3 after that, to look this bad in the sport that matters in realignment sucks as a grad. I'm hoping they can get back to a top 4 ACC team before the next big power shift and sneek in to the P2, but it's doubtful now and the AD is to blame but his sorry ass is still at VT though 2 terrible hires.

Being there for the 2003-2008 years was something else, but that's now gone and maybe buried for a long while. 

Virginia Tech fire Brent Pry after 0-3 start. He is getting nearly 7mill to go away. That's great $ to fail so bad. This will also decimate the recruiting cycle too.

ODU was up 31-0 on Virginia tech in Blacksburg with 6 minutes to go in the 3rd. The closest game for them so far is the usce game. They were outscored 62-0 from the second half of the vandy game (where they were at home)  through the 1st half at home against ODU. VT is the worst power 5 or group of 6 conferences with ease.

in year 3. he needs to sit next week. he isnt a rookie or even year 2.

its unfortunate that there is nothing out there that can get bryce canned for off the field stuff. cause they refuse to let the poo he spews on the field matter.

how do we “open up” the offense for a guy who cost us 7 points on the first drive, and then blew the chance to take the lead on the next drive because he threw a pick straight into a defender’s chest?  There’s no magic play to fix that.

at 700k a year, he is straight trash for 2 years. he had a partial year at baylor and the 1st bit at vt looked like a real qb. after that he has been absolute ass. as a passer, think pro pickles but even worse. he is a glorified RB. VT should have let him go after last year and moved on but didnt. i hope the coach says f' it and sits him for the year.  cant let that 1 qb hold the rest of the program back. 

you were ok with him in spurts this game, thats always drones, a few good plays but awful otherwise. you can take the project cause its like DJ, everyone thought he was the guy and he wasnt. killed FSU last year, and drones killing VT for another damn year.

State tried hard to throw this game they dominated for the 1st 20 minutes. Good grief

was not sad when he left VT for the Vols. sure he played great in that scheme, so did Joe Milton and everyone else who has been in that scheme.

Wharton got a bag for sure after getting to play on the chiefs. Top 20 contract at DT when he signed so the plays gotta be better. It was always an overpay but that's a massive gap. Hopefully when the season rolls around we forget this preseason performance.

I find it funny kon gets such a hard time in summer league. He wasn't drafted to be the lead guy like some after him. He's a jack of all trades part that's gonna fill cracks at a high level. 

What I don't get is how this team expects to defend anyone. If healthy, there are so many scoring options and playmakers. But thin defending the rim.

I'm a wizards fan, and the wizard fan base, imo, is crazy to think the hornets are worse off than the wizards. The wiz have no proven guys and Tre Johnson might be a gem, the rest are meh or blah. 

its gonna be a chippy 3rd in Washington now. Habs have nothing to lose here.
