I mean if you were the Saints brass, would you have tied you job security to any QB outside of Ward in this draft? Me either.

Yup, anybody who actually follows the draft thought this was where he would land if the Jets didn't take him at #7. The Bears were rumored to like Loveland more throughout the entire process.

The rumors of him going as high as #5 always seemed suspect to me. Tweeners need a friendly system and specific plan to be successful. So many of these dudes are crazy athletic, but can never find true position to call home and it fugs up their careers.

Mocked heavily at #5, just to the Jags. It wasn't until Jeanty got linked to the Jags in the past week that anyone really started talking about Graham falling past #5. As someone posted moments ago, going to script so far...just Hunter and Graham with other teams from the trade.
