  1. Most mocks have Warren going to the Colts at #14. Where someone is drafted and where they are ranked on a Big Board can be, and often are, not the same. Here is Klatt's opinion on this with the Colts pick. Something I was saying to another poster earlier this morning and then I just ran across this video a short time ago.
  2. I just watched Klatt's mock and Greeny's mock featuring Kiper & Yates on YouTube. The Jags are now very questionable to take Graham (who has been routinely been mocked to them) which could change the trajectory of the draft. Jeanty has picked up steam, but the sentiment now is offense no matter what. Both videos suggested we still are going Walker or Williams--Williams if Walker is off the board, BUT Yates said don't be shocked to see us take an OT with Icky and Moton in contract years in 2026--assuming we pick up the 5th year option.
  3. There's not much of a separation between the two, true, but both are solidly first rounders. In the second round we would be looking at TE3 at best and even that's a stretch since we are picking 25th with the Rams original draft spot. TE4 is Fannin Jr. and his game is very similar to a guy we already have in Sanders. Yes, Fannin Jr.'s numbers were insane, but he ran up the numbers playing some really, REALLY bad teams in the MAC as Bowling Green's #1 receiving target. Needless to say, he wouldn't have gotten those type of numbers playing in the SEC or Big 10 and NFL defenders are better than guys he played in the MAC.
  4. The Bears are going offense. The only thing that could make the Cowboys jump is if Jeanty goes to the Raiders at #6 and rumors start to float about the Bears taking Hampton. I heard while the Cowboys would love to land Jeanty, they aren't moving up for him and obviously don't expect him to fall to #12, so their target is Hampton.
  5. If Graham gets past the Jags at #5, the chances of us getting him at #8 goes ups dramatically. I'm still convinced the Raiders are going for an impact skilled player. Jets are going offense, almost certain of it.
  6. Yup, but people were pissed when we won that last game with the Falcons. We'd be sitting at #6 had we lost basically looking at he same options as #8. That's unless Walker does go at pick four or five. Still, it's a pretty weak draft at the top overall.
  7. Walker to the Pats is a crazy scenario. With a 2nd year QB, how do you not give him more weapons or protection when it is lacking?
  8. If it looks to be going that way, the Browns may pull a Panthers move and trade back up into the first round by a spot, two or three just so they can get that 5th year option.
  9. Huh? You must be conflating mock drafts and player ratings. Almost every site I look at for player ratings absolutely have Warren as a top 10 prospect. Due to the nature of TEs being a niche need, most MOCKS have him being drafted outside of the top 10.
  10. They are resetting this year and taking a QB next year in the 2026 draft. Why would you do a reset and draft rookie QB in the top 10 that you aren't completely sold on? They are going to take a piece to build on this draft, get their cap in better shape and hope to get a MUCH better QB prospect next April. Spencer Rattler will serve as the tank commander.
  11. Chicago will not trade up for a Jeanty. Thinking a team will trade up to the top 5 for a RB with the idea of finding trading partner for your current RB1 is a LONG shot proposition for the Jags (I have heard the same rumblings about this scenario). I honestly think they are putting out smoke just hoping to move back. At #5 there should be more value and this draft is very thin with elite talent at the top. Again, they are simply trying to fabricate a scenario to move back and get more value.
  12. ^This. The only blue chip likely left when we pick at #8. If we pass him up, then BPA is a complete farce. I don't want to hear/read crap from our front office about "we took the best player available at #8."
  13. Most likely with an outside chance of his teammate Williams. Anybody other than those two would absolutely shock me at #8 (unless Graham falls). If somehow we manage to move out of that spot, all bets are off. I'm thinking: Walker-80% Williams-14% Graham-1% (solely based on availability)
  14. I'm hoping the Jets draft Warren over an OT, that way he won't be on the board WHEN (not if) we bypass him for a less polished player. BPA my arse. I know, I know, he might not be that high on our board, even though roughly 95% of all Big Boards I've seen has him at least a top 8 talent. VERY seldomly to I see him ranked lower than that. Granted he's slated to get drafted lower than that value simply because TE is a niche positional need. Again, Sanders is not a TE1, he's a TE2. I mean, we tried to make Ian Thomas a TE1 for how long? Thomas was at best a TE3, but we kept trying.
  15. I know that. I'm not predicting it. Just putting the information out there so I will have receipts for later on when this dude turns into a stud at this level too. It's kinda bittersweet, he'd help our offense out a great deal, but I'm wanting a QB next draft, so adding another weapon for Bryce is counterproductive in that regard.
  16. Enjoy your day with friends and family! With a successful draft in a few days we will have more to celebrate and be hopeful for heading into the void in football calendar known as summer. Positive vibes!
  17. Just say'n... Not some random site, but from NFL dot com--fourth best prospect
  18. Heard on the sports radio today that an insider with the Saints said they are biting the bullet and finally doing a reset this year. That said, don't expect a QB at #9 even if Sanders is there. Perfect year to do a low key tank for that 2026 QB draft class.
  19. That's my main problem, at #8 that's a future HOF or perennial All-Pro spot. If you aren't 100% sure that player is a Day1 starter or might be scheme adverse, stay away from that player that high in the draft. I just know our track record with 'tweeners and undersized EDGE guys. Piss poor would best describe that track record.
  20. For the record, I DON'T dislike Walker, I just think #8 is too high for him. If we move back to the mid-teens and still can get him...fine. I would have no problem with that.
  21. Unless he's fibbing, later on Simms said he's heard while "some people love Walker, others don't even have him as a first rounder".
