  1. See..... Also Baker getting us to 8 wins is probably the worst thing that can happen, if he cannot get us to 10+ he is not worth starting. We will not be in range for a new QB picking middle of the road in the draft and we dont have the roster built for a rookie QB to trade away future years of picks to move up.
  2. You probably would have thought the same of Dalton in his early Cincy years. He had 20 or more Td passes 4 of his first 5 years and won 10 games 4 of 5 years. I hope Baker is good for us, but I expect more of the same.
  3. For me Baker is in the Darnold, Daniel Jones, Andy dalton type tier. The only difference is Baker had a good team around him while the rest of these guys had suckage. Dalton also took his team to the playoffs in Cincy with a good roster and coaching but he has sucked everywhere else he has played. I hope Baker can be good, but I highly doubt it.
  4. This and he doesnt give AF about the fans. As long as his pockets keep getting lined with $ we could win 5 games a season for the next 10 years and he would just hide and not give AF. There is no reason why we still have Rhule as a coach. If we suck again this year they all need to go, fug this halfway cleaning house like we did with Ron and Marty. We need to fully clean it, completely new staff.
  5. Yea and that reason is because MoRon Rivera ran him into the fuggin dirt trotting him out with only olsen and a bunch of garbage on offense. We literally had one season with Byron Bell and Nate Chandler as our bookends. Our coaching staff severely shortened Cams career, if only we had someone to develop him like the Bills did with Allen instead of just putting the offense on his back and riding him.
  6. Robby or any other player ios not going to go on a podcast and say "oh man Sam sucks so fuging bad, I wish we would get rid of him" that is a recipe for disaster. We all know Sam sucks, Robby knows it too, but he cant say that to the media.
  7. I said even if all of them are considered great we are still a ways off from drawing in a top QB who wants to compete for a super bowl like the OP suggested. Moton and Chinn if used properly are top 10 easily, Burns and Moore are more like top 15-20 guys..
  8. I worry about a whole bunch of weird looking fronts that have no chance of stopping the run. We are going to have to line up and stop the run to be any good this season, Snow likes to be too cute, this isnt college football.
  9. So even if we call all of those guys great, we have a RT, WR, DE, SS, and a RB that cant stay healthy. Some guys will really have to step up this season if we are expecting to lure in a big name QB ready to win a super bowl as was suggested.
  10. I do think Moton is great or close to great and Chinn could be if used properly. I don see Burns or Moore as top 5 at their positions.
  11. To be a great player you need to be top 5 in the NFL at your position. They are good to very good players, but im not sure about great.
  12. I think we will have a strong run blocking line with average pass blocking, which will be a huge upgrade from last season. As long as Rhule does not trot miller out at LG we should be good.
  13. I love the Panthers, but we dont have the talent on our roster for that. We really need to start nailing our draft picks instead of spending them on has been QBs. We have added Chinn since Rhule has been the coach and a bunch of JAGs.
  14. Ron Rivera had generational talents on his roster and some guys that were great players. We have one in CMC but he cant stay healthy, im not even sure who else on the roster qualifies as a great player, much less generational. Ron was not a great coach either, but he rode on Cam and Lukes coattails, and never had back to back winning seasons.
  15. That happens when you have a top 5 OL.
  16. Smitty is tripping, Baker can easily get the triple crown in Carolina. Sacks, INTs, and Fumbles.
  17. Has Baker moved all his poo into BoA yet? I expect a fluff piece showing his move to mimic the commercials.
  18. This, Baker is a lesser version of Tony Romo. We just had a Browns fan that has watched most of his games describe him as such. Nothing wrong with what we gave up, I just dont think Baker can take us past 7-8 wins which scares me because that might mean Rhule can keep his job.
  19. Which is also true of every other QB we have put out there, Denver thought they wanted Teddy but after they had him they traded away a bunch of picks for the rights to pay Russ 50m a season. Now we have Baker that no one else wanted, even though it was for a reasonable cost.
  20. The sad thing about Cam being done is we could have gotten those same 5 wins the past 2 seasons with Cam at QB for a hell of a lot less $ and draft picks than it cost us to get Teddy and Sam. No reason to replace a broken former great QB with broken never were QBs especially at the cost we paid.
  21. Which is a damn shame. Here we are the 3rd year in a row we are praying CMC stays healthy and trotting out a throwaway QB hoping he will have a career year under the tutelage of a bunch of has been or never where coaches.
  22. Im not even sure the offense is that much improved unless Baker steps his game up. These are the numbers from last year without factoring in Baker was on a playoff ready roster and Darnold was on one of the worst coached teams in the league with no OL. I know darnold sucks with or without an OL, but still. Baker: 60.5% 3010 yards,17TDs, 13ints Badthrow% 20.9 OnTarget% 73.6 Darnold :59% 2527 yards,9TDs 13ints Badthrow% 18.5 OnTarget% 74.5
  23. I wish him the best and hope he proves me wrong about him sucking, but we have seen this song and dance for the 3rd year in a row now. Now we have our next leftover QB that no one else wanted. The offseason is complete.
  24. So Baker has a career year with a worse team than he has been on for the past couple of years. I think its more like 59% comp, 3200 yards, 17 TDs, 13 ints,7-10, if he gets to start the whole year.
