I haven’t got to watch Mendoza as much as I knew Maye bc I’m an UNC alum… but from the games I’ve watched, Mendoza has that “it” factor much like Maye. I think Maye is a superior athlete, and Mendoza is bigger, but I see a lot of similarities in their games and style. I would trade this year’s first and next to move up to get Mendoza. But I have a feeling that won’t be enough. He’s likely going 1st overall, and that team probably needs him more than they need that or any trade. i also watched a clip of Gruden on a podcast recently and they asked him about his QBs he’s looking at for the upcoming draft, and the guys he named I wasnt familiar with, I like duo and was disgusted. And even he made it clear, he was not excited about the crop outside of Mendoza at all. He believes in Mendoza, but everyone else was meh - and that’s my take. Maybe Dante Moore? Sellers is staying. Reed is staying. Guys like Beck and Pavia to me are just run of the mill, JAG-type QBs - I see their trajectory or output being like a Blaine Gabbert. So, I’m extremely underwhelmed. Out best bet is to bring in somebody like Jameis and maybe take a flyer on a 2nd or 3rd day guy to compete and/or develop… (or go after another young guy I’ve mentioned elsewhere if he’s available).

Official Week 15: Panthers @ Saints Gameday Thread

As I was watching, unless something crazy happens, the Pats are winning the AFC. And I’ve been saying the same for us as of late - I hope we go on a magical playoff run. Yes, we have had some shitty games, but we also have beat the top team in our conference twice this season. We are capable, we just have to be consistent. -

I am concerned about it being in NO. But we made our bed… now we don’t gotta sleep in it, we need to wake the fug up and turn some poo over. -
I already know I’m gonna get poo emojis for it, but idgaf… if the FO would’ve just listened to me, we’d be fielding the hometown boy front-running for MVP this year. Why in the world did we sell out for 2023 draft? Like I said then… should’ve signed a stopgap for 2023, semi-tanked, and traded whatever needed to move up for Maye. That was always my stated plan. He is so effin good.

Same. There are few things in this life that piss me off more than 4pm Panther games. I got locked in, flipped FOX on, then the fuging raiders/eagles came on, so I switched to CBS, and saw it was buf/ne and I just feel like raging. I fuging hate 4pm games with a passion. I despise them. -
I honestly hope we come out tomorrow and against Tampa and just punch them in the fuging mouth and never let up. Just absolute physical domination. And we are capable of it.

I told yall, the JLo mojo is working its magic. Because in real-time, no way Mooney or Cousins recovered those fumbles. They didn’t. And that last Pitts TD was definitely not a TD.

Damn, And kind of wanted to watch and don’t realize it was this week. I’m Fayetteville born and raised but moved out to the Clayton area after college. Saw Clayton was having a great year and was hoping they would win it all, but I had no idea the #1 QB in the country was on the opposing team.

My bad, I was referring to the second half. I was gone running errands for most of the first half and early 3rd qtr.

Will history repeat itself and Carolina make it to NFCCG this year?

I forgot what late season Panthers football felt like

I really, really, really hope Bryce has turned the corner we’ve waited on for 3 years. I won’t say another sideways word about him if he can lead us into the playoffs (and hopefully a Super Bowl). It feels like it’s been forever. I’m hyped. Remember someone posted that theory about how each year we opened against Jax and JLo divorced her husband we went to the Super Bowl? The poo is all aligning in the most incredibly impossible way lol. The fact the Bucs poo the bed two weeks in a row against the two teams in the division that have already been eliminated from the playoffs??? That’s unbelievable. LFG. -
Hell yeah. I’ll take it.

Sills is surprising me. I knew he had all the hype as a QB in HS and eventually switched to receiver, but I assumed his path to and while in the league would ultimately be unimpressive. He looked damn good tonight and that catch was so fuging clutch.
-
I think he has always suffered from the defensive coach syndrome when it comes to offense. That seems to be where his teams always start coming apart, be it turnovers or them getting to conservative at times.
-
If the Falcons let go of Cousins, I would love to sign him next season. He has always been underrated and under appreciated.
-
It was 19 last they showed the graphic. I think they called at least two more after that, so 21?
-
The fact nobody was sitting near Baker after that last pick says a lot. And Evans was pissed. They have to be coming apart at the seams. at the end of the day, fug em, but I do like Bowles as a coach/person (if he wasn’t in the division).
-
I was waiting like there was a penalty or something. Seemed very bleh.

Bucs have lost 6 of last 8. Feels like no matter that talent or injuries, the wheels are falling off and the locker room has to be crumbling.
