Think we need to focus on extending Nijman.

Just watched a breakdown on Bryce against Tampa for that last game, and even with that being one of his better games this year (it apparently was only his third game of the year hitting 250 yards lol) the guy showed multiple plays where Bryce just bailed, even with a clean pocket, put his head down and looks to run to contact or tie himself up - he never looks up again to make a play or find an open man, even when not pressured… like he did on that sack.

Welp, don’t have to wait. And at least it was a legit call…. But now we have no Icky.

If Canales is planning on relying on Bryce like he did that opening drive, the bright side is, this is gonna be a quick and painless end to the season - like that first drive.

I feel like he was really, really good year 1. Ever since that initial injury it has been all downhill since. He is backup-quality now, but I think we keep him bc he’s a good locker room guy.

In your opinion? I certainly hope so, and I also think Shough playing less games and throwing that late pick while we get to the playoffs should help.

Yeah, I remember early in the season he wasn’t grading out very well, but just in terms of how he was moving and maneuvering as a rookie, he always impressed me. I figured if he could hold his ground against the run, he was bound to play more and show more. I hope he’s already there. Love his athleticism.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’m wondering why we aren’t playing him more snaps? I have loved flashes I’ve seen from him throughout the season, and he flashed a couple times Sunday. I would love to see him get more of Wonnum’s snaps opposite Scourton. I really think the future is bright for both of them.

Oops, I meant *could go 15-1, not would. But still maintain 11-13 wins is still realistic with a new QB. Tellin you Montsta…. I hope Chambliss comes out in this draft and is available in the 2nd or 3rd. Hell, we might could win 13 games with Kirk Cousins or Malik Willis next season.

I feel bad for Morris. He seems like a genuinely good guy and his players are to love him. But, some decisions are hard to justify - like starting Penix over Cousins and it essentially costing them the season. All that being said - I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE HIM AD OUR DC. He’s a great one.
