I think it’s funny people in here think Canales and Morgan have final say about Young’s fate lol

Apologies if I missed it somewhere, but can anyone shed some light on the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty we got hit with during the Derrick Brown strip sack? They never alluded to what happened on the broadcast or showed any replays other than it occurring on the sideline.
I believe players got excited, jumped off the bench and onto the field.

Push rush has to be addressed. Every QB every week gets all day to throw. We have to be bottom 5 pass rush.

I think Canales knows what identity he wants for the team (I think), it's just that he is hamstrung by Bryce. He won't make the tough decision to ditch Bryce, likely due to higher-ups. Bryce has been on thin ice in my damned mind for two years. Every season, the question of axing him by the trade deadline looms large (again, in my mind). There is absolutely no way we should've come into this season without a plan B (and I'm not talking the Red Rifle). Canales should've been banging the table for a plan B. I mean, it's just his job on the line.
Young is a Tepper mistake and no one will convince me otherwise.
No NFL coach comes in, sees what Bryce has done, a short QB hopping around under throwing the ball and says yep, I can make a future with this QB and statistically he will be the first in history to do it with his limitations.
Some people seem to believe this. Tepper is strapping the team to Bryce.

Bryce is simply yet another a Tepper problem.
He is Tepper’s guy for reasons unrelated to football. Reich knew Bryce wasn’t it. The way Canales talks about Bryce, he knows it too. These are people with football knowledge.
Tepper wanted to draft him and is forcing Bryce on coaches. And resigning Bryce will be yet another indicator of all this.
I am not a huge fan of Canales but it’s pretty obvious he’d be able to coach more effectively without Bryce.

Yeah we a quarterback away.
Honestly, form a winning team? Absolutely. From a playoff caliber team? Need pass rush…it’s absolutely horrendous. I don’t think we’ve had a worse pass rush in history but may be off on that.

It’s weird how the panthers tempo literally never changes…even Aikman mentioned it.

it's only stupid if you don't run the ball there. Whats the point of taking the penalty to throw it from the 1?
There is no point at all, you don’t fuging take the two try when you don’t have to in a one possession game. Aside from the fact the offense hasn’t been able to do anything all game.
This has got to be the dumbest call I have ever seen.

Canals isn’t going to push it with Bryce unless he absolutely has to.

We have three interceptions in the first half alone and only have three points. Wild
And should’ve been a fumble recovery.
49ers are holding like there is no tomorrow.
You can tell bad Bryce is out there from a lot of angles but the absolute refusal to throw it away is his biggest tell.
You can usually tell a loss long before the final score.

What an awful playcalling holy poo

This game is on razors edge from getting ugly quick. Offense looks listless.
With the defense playing a full game worth at the half it’s going to get really really ugly.

49ers TD incoming.

Lol. I think it's more Brock Purdy hucking dum dum passes.
I am here for it.
Honestly I think the 49ers are just comfortable playing around taking risks. If and when they realize to tighten up…it’s going to be hard to watch.

Panther’s defense gassed after almost 1.5 quarters.

Please god get this team even an average QB.

Great to see it but it needs to be a norm, not a cherished single play in the 3rd quarter of the season.

San Fran is not the Panthers, they actually have legit scouts and talent evaluators, and coaching. Players don’t blow up once they leave like they do here.
Despite the dumb trade for him, if SF let him go, I take that as he isn’t the answer.-

What? Canales doesn't determine the QB, that’s Tepper.

Are we fugin serious?
Fact of the matter is he will demand $ and contact after the year. We already paid Hubbard. I don’t like it either but it’s the best option.

This QB draft class kinda sucks. Like the year that we had the 1st pick. I would keep Bryce since it’s the last year of his contract, go after one of the higher end veteran QBs in FA, whoever that will be, and then take a shot on day 2 or 3 on somebody like Haynes King.
At that point, if it fails you can clean house and the new staff has a chance to pick their QB.
Our 1st rounder needs to go towards Edge or LB. Maybe OL but that can probably be handled in Free Agency.
The problem is FA QBs with options won’t come here. Including trades even if we want to overpay. We get leftovers thanks to Tepper. The only hope is to draft one, and that’s a big hope since the Panthers don’t know how to draft.
Very similar to the Browns.

Completely washed. We have backup caliber QB starting and a guy who should be out of the league backing him up. Oof.
I’d argue we don’t have a legit coaching staff either.
More of Tepper ball, won’t end til he’s gone.
