    Someone had to take the fall for strouds regression. Fair or not, time will tell. Seemed like a pretty classic case of the sophomore slump to me. I wouldn’t be too worried about it unless Stroud doesn’t bounce back next season.

    Just keeping score here. I wanted the team to trade Necas for a couple years. This year he starts off super hot and I eat crow. Then he cools off and we deal him. I do like the move though.

    He'll get another shot for sure. FWIW, I thought Stroud finished pretty well for a sophomore slump type season.

    I wasn't trying to claim it makes sense. That's just the way the league seems to work now. Last year Slowik was getting HC interviews. This year he's fired. Stroud just didn't play as well this year. Is that his fault? Maybe? Maybe not. Baker got 2 guys HC gigs in 2 years.
