    I agree with you, but most coaches aren't gonna do that kind of thing. If they're good enough to win at the current level, then don't fix what ain't broke.

    Yea the blueprint to beat Bryce isn't exactly a secret. The Falcons apparently figured it out for week 1 last year.

    We are only past week 1, and the dude is getting absolutely eviscerated by the media. He's not gonna last the entire season unless he improves. No way he gets trotted out there for all 17 games at this rate.

    It's a long season. There's still a chance Canales shows some potential.

    I think that's pretty accurate. Wilks can't cut it at the highest levels. It requires out adjusting your opponents. You can't just line up and beat the other team. It's why the 49ers fired him as DC.

    Wilks does not have it on the X's and O's side or making adjustments in game. He could not play the chess match at all. It was old school, pound the rock football with vanilla defense. He lived and mostly died by that.

    The team played with more spunk for Wilks than they ever did for Reich. That's all I'm saying.

    Wilks got the team playing at a respectable level instantly, given the talent on the roster. I don't think he's the right coach to take the team to the playoffs and beyond. But he was good enough to get the team out of the gutter, and provided a damning contrast to Rhule and Reich.

    Because he has been coddled like a spoiled child ever since he was drafted by this organization. And now he has a cream puff coach that doesn't believe in criticism.

    Yeah he’s not. But he’s good enough to be part of a successful NFL backfield. He shouldn’t be getting Derrick Henry volume though. It just blows my mind that some people watched the same game I did and think RB is anywhere near top of the list with issues for this team.

    If we had never made that trade and Matt Corral put up identical numbers, we’d be flushing him down the toilet without an afterthought. Bryce got year 2 based on sunk cost fallacy.
