    Not sure who will be available in FA off the top of my head. But I would rather take a shot on a rookie QB in the draft, and use some of the salary savings to pay a free agent TE. Good TEs are hard to draft, but if one is available in FA he could help our QB immediately.

    Only if you trade for or sign a veteran star QB. Drafting a QB even in the 1st gives you a few years to evaluate whether or not they are worth that kind of a contract.

    As soon as someone stops our run game and forces Sam to win the game, he will get exposed again. Every QB on our roster this year is bad. Wilks and company are just hiding him by pounding the rock.

    Agreed. His offenses on the Colts when he was HC were never very good either.

    Unless we lose out or something, I'd rather keep Wilks than hire Frank Reich. I'd be open to Steichen or Johnson.

    Fair but this season is also weird in that there are hardly any good teams.

    The tanking ship sailed a few weeks ago. We're not getting one of the top 2 QB prospects. Might as well try to enjoy the team actually putting some wins together for the first time in half a decade. We can still take a QB in the draft.

    If people are expecting at least one sack a game, that's unrealistic for pretty much anyone. I would just like to see him get more pressure when he is being single teamed. Some games like yesterday he is just kept quiet for 4 quarters. But to be fair, Peppers had games like that too.

    I predict the Chargers lose the lead and have a chance for a game winning drive and blow it. That seems to be what happens every time the Chargers are on prime time.
