    Unfortunately it seems Dan isn’t any good at talent evaluation or roster construction. It’s rare for a good player to be a good executive. Beyond Bryce young, there’s too many baffling decisions that 90% of the huddle would have navigated better.

    It’s hard to find a vet as a legit long term starter. But it would be easy to improve upon the QB room we have today. Someone like Sam Howell might be ass but he could have been had for basically nothing. And he has some NFL level tools

    It’s not about XL being bad. It’s about the double standards and mental gymnastics to make excuses for Bryce. Yeah XL sucks. Why is it so hard to apply the same standards to all the players?

    He was a dumb pick. But the blame on him is unfair given it’s only year 2. We should wait until year 7 like Bryce or else we’re not really being fair right? Somehow this guy needs to be removed from the NFL, but the jury is still out on Bryce.

    The only position that’s worth a Hail Mary on a project is QB. The risk/reward isn’t there for anything else in the 1st round.

    Well they can play that game all they like. The fact is they didn’t make a single half of an attempt to bring in a halfway competent backup. They made the bed. Now it’s time to sleep in it. They made this Bryce or bust and now it’s bust.

    Pretty much all you can do at this point is play Bryce. If he dies, he dies. There’s no other option on the roster and it is what it is. Dalton stinks and anyone we pull up from PS will likely be terrible.

    I was more getting at the idea that a top pick isn't necessarily going to land a better QB prospect. We can’t evaluate talent.

    It’s true but last year was the same deal. Too early to tell but Ward would not be successful in Carolina either.

    Its hilarious how 80-90% of the board was all in on letting Bryce sink or swim. But after one week of watching it, it's like holy poo save us from this.

    I'm going with Cardinals -9.5 this week, so that's guaranteed to lose. Money line should be good.
