Might as well declare this front office regime dead if that's the case. There is no reason that should happen.

I agree but I wanna see that spread get bigger. I thought the same thing and took Jacksonville +13 this past week.

They need to evaluate Danny DeVito to stay in the race for Sanders/Ward.

I think Bryce will be in someone else's camp next year. I think we have a fresh QB room next year. Dalton is expiring. I predict at least one cheap veteran signing, and I think it's likely we draft one even if its on day 2 or 3. We are probably rolling with a scrub tier QB like Daniel Jones or Jacoby Brissett. Even if we somehow landed Sanders or Ward, I don't think they'll want to start them immediately.

Because we're the Panthers. That's really the reason why. But yeah we need a QB. I'm assuming that regardless of drafting one, we will sign a veteran. Danny Dimes will be released in the offseason, and I don't think many teams will be interested. I think he will be very cheap. He does have some good tape, and Canales may think he is potentially fixable. He is also from Charlotte.

Yeah. I don't want it to happen but I can see it coming from a mile away.

Remember to bump this when he's signed before camp next year.

Other games 11/17, got some good ones today

Big win for Herbie and the Chargers. Nothing like a late 4th quarter TD drive to win the game. -

Chargers stopped scoring so they’re probably cooked. -

I think the Raiders fire their coach but they wait until after the season. -

I’m really not buying Evero getting a head coaching gig next year. He’ll end up on someone’s staff next year, but coaches off teams like this Panthers team don’t get hired as head coaches lol. -
Theres your veteran QB. Lol

It looked like they were still pounding those tall beers in the 4th quarter. So probably, yes. -
It wasn't a high bar I guess

Would he? He got fired before the first one would have come up. Would he have earned another year of patience because he sold off Burns? I kinda doubt that. I think that's the reason he didn't do it. "No way I survive another year if I sell of my best pass rusher" kind of logic.

Regardless of what you think of Deion, his tenure at Colorado is essentially a proof of concept for having a celebrity at HC to drive transfers. When viewed through that lens, I think there's a fair amount of ADs that would view his job in Colorado as a successful proof of concept. The shift that's happening with the NIL stuff and the transfer portal is going to cause someone to take a leap of faith with Deion. I think it ends up being FSU.

Most likely: Gets the FSU job Most entertaining: Hired as the Raiders coach and drafts Shedeur.

They should just call the team the Utah Jazz lol

Canales still not sold on Bryce?
PNW_PantherMan replied to Jackson113.2's topic in Carolina Panthers
If anything the last 2 weeks have shown that Bryce is stronger mentally than a lot, including myself, probably believed. Bryce was bad last season, but the first 2 games this year were downright awful. They were indicative of a guy who had lost all confidence. While Bryce has not really shown much, he has shown that he can rebound mentally from being terrible and getting benched. That being said, nothing is going to change the fact that he's a more limited Tua. And I don't think Tua is part of a Super Bowl formula. But that's my take. -
Concussions aside he’s just not that good.
