Dan Graziano: Panthers will trade Diontae Johnson
PNW_PantherMan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nobody should cry over the worst team in the league selling off players. Thielen, Johnson, and Hubbard are a not a winning core in the NFL. These cornerstone players are just (already or soon to be) overpaid role players on other teams. -
Dianna Russian: several teams interested in Bryce Young
PNW_PantherMan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I really hope we get to see it. I'm a Bryce hater but Plummer doesn't belong in the NFL. His job was to make Bryce look serviceable by comparison. -

Young to Miami (Trade proposal via fox)
PNW_PantherMan replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
Everyone seems to think the Dolphins want Bryce except the Dolphins. -
Not if you ask the ACC command center
-
Miami is winning today no question.
-
We were over the cap with no talent on the roster lol. Glass houses.
-
They’re in a bad spot but in reality the team needs to be rebuilt from the studs anyways. They kicked the can for 20 years and will be fine after a year or two reset.
-
He’s the prospect I would want but I just don’t think it happens. I’d be happy with that though. It’s always a crap shoot but he’s the best QB prospect in this draft in my opinion.
-
I don't like Carr but I'm just saying that was probably their logic. Even winning the NFCS would just mean a playoff berth, and they would get quickly bounced. It never made sense beyond winning the NFCS by default. Which they won't even achieve that now.
-
They thought they would automatically win the division because the NFC South was dog poo. They didn't anticipate the Bucs or Atlanta being playoff contenders.
-
I've heard they might have to cut Kamara. They are projected to be 80 something million in the red on the cap next year.
-
This would have been nice to know before I bet on Clemson to cover.
-
Nice picks. I expect Clemson to cover the -21. Not sure about Louisville winning. I'm probably more down on Miami than most of the people here, but Louisville has been pretty underwhelming since the Notre Dame loss. I think Miami is overrated, but they are probably better than Louisville.

Stop the obsession with the QB position

We just need to get lucky. You don't need competence for that. You just need a little luck. -
Barnwell Trade Idea: Bryce Young <-> Dolphins
PNW_PantherMan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I could see it if his contract didn't exist. If he was a free agent and there were no strings attached, someone would kick the tires on him. But his contract makes him essentially untradeable IMO. The rookie pay scale is friendlier to teams than it was before it existed. But the first overall pick still gets a relatively big contract for a player that may or may not be any good. -
Steelers country. Lets ride.

I figured when he showed up in street clothes with the backpack it was game over. He looked like a middle schooler out there next to the other 3 guys. Of course, we were completely sold on him lol.

Barnwell Trade Idea: Bryce Young <-> Dolphins
PNW_PantherMan replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
His trade value is based on the hubris of one coach that thinks he can fix him. So.. not much of anything at all. -

My prediction in 3 years - Panthers return to their roots
PNW_PantherMan replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
It needs to happen which is why it won't happen. -
This is how a real professional QB reacts to being benched.
