    Short term would almost make Marner more appealing for me if I'm the Canes GM. If it doesn't work out, you're not stuck with some albatross contract. If it does workout, nobody's gonna be mad about winning a cup. Everyone loses pieces when that happens.

    Chuba is a real homegrown talent. Came in as a late pick and through work ethic and persistence he developed into a good starter. Respect to him. He's already had a better career than most 4th rounders, and he's got a lot of football left.
