Well I'm happy with Ehlers, and I'm cautiously optimistic about Miller improving under RBA. I know we're probably not done, but I'm glad we aren't just running it back.

I always thought they should have one thing on highway etiquette and safety in the driver's ed programs. Doesn't even need to be on the actual exam. But if people just learned the basics at 15/16, after 10-20 years I think there would be enough of them on the road to help. Not just what the lanes are for but how to (and not to) drive with semi trucks.

Makes sense. Risk doesn't seem high as a pure salary dump, but it feels like maybe Las Vegas is stepping back from the ledge. I wouldn't mind giving up a pick or something but I'd hate to see someone like Blake going the other way to make it happen.

Not against a deal for Hertl. The contract length gives me some pause, but ~6.5MM AAV (after SJ retained %) probably isn't a big deal if we have some dead years at the end of that. But yeah, could potentially be another KK situation where we have a useless player stuck on our payroll if he falls off a cliff. If this is purely a salary dump and nothing of value goes the other way, I think it's probably worth that risk.
