What does rooting for the team have anything to do with what we are talking about? -

Thats not who he fundamentally is. Historically he has been a qb that likes to roll out. I only saw it once yesterday but 2x last week where he scrambles and rolls out then tries to do a stutterstep where he completely stops and then tries to fake the defender. He is not athletic enough to do this and he is going to get decapitated if it continues. Once a defender realizes what happens he is just going to missile into him when he tries it -

Nfl offenses can not fundamentally change who they are 4 weeks into the season. This "offense" is what was worked on in the preseason. This is what it is. Couple that with a shitty qb, young oline and an OC that is legendary for being unimaginative and predictable and wala you have the 2022 Carolina panthers offense. If someone has an example in recent memory I would love to review that and see what their process was but I think all things considered what you have in week 4 is it. And not to depress you any further, the more tape that gets out there on us the harder its going to be because I sure as hell dont see this staff out coaching and out preparing for some of the teams we have coming up. -

The Team Played For Their Coach Today

And a generational qb doesn't hurt -
From everything I saw and read from the players the past week you just knew the defense was going to be on fire in the start of the game. Couple that with a hurt Winston and it was a no brainer that we were going to "throttle" them. I still dont know how it was as close as it was. Credit to snow and the defense for having that intensity. Is it sustainable? Probably not but its probably good for another couple wins

He is stretching the ball over the goal line. Do not want

I had an ATL fan at my house yesterday so I had them on one of my tvs. And for the 3rd week in a row those dudes are gritty. There is an obvious lack of talent but for whatever reason Smith has them playing hard. Its obvious. Is it sustainable as the losses mount, probably not but right now they are playing their asses off. If they can get pitts to wake up then who knows how good that offense can be. Seattle just looked inept on a couple of crucial drives. I think that was their plan all along was to "tank" with Geno to get a qb. -

This is the nfl, bad teams do win, thats why I have had us pegged for 5/6 wins since the season started. After 3 weeks I can confidently say this is a 5/6 win football team. Seattle is probably a 3ish win team. They are bad. We will find out next week what zona is. They have had a tough schedule so far but they look way out of sorts. As for NO I have no idea wtf they were thinking trotting Winston out there when he was struggling to throw in the late first half. -

I get your point, I really do, but teams in the nfl dont miraculously change their MO 4 games into the season. What they have in place is what they are running with and after 3 games it aint pretty. We need to score points to win games and what we are doing fundamentally isnt that. We can debate about why that is but the larger point is our offense is complete poo. -

It is? Did you just watch the previous 3 weeks? As teams start collecting more and more tape on us its going to get uglier and uglier as the schedule gets harder
