  1. yeah Miles Sanders is good because of Philly, not the other way around
  2. In this league, everyone knows you need a franchise QB and you need to stop the opponents franchise QB for any chance at winning. I believe replacing Burns would be significantly harder than replacing DJ Moore and that's why we traded DJ and not Burns or Brown. We believe we have our franchise QB now and we got a QB stopper in Burns. We're just struggling with the rest.
  3. This is what Rhule means when he says "his arms aren't long enough!" That bicep was stretched too much! I kid, I kid.
  4. I agree that to get a legitimate weapon is to trade future assets. Look what Buffalo did with Diggs for Allen, Dolphins for Tua with Hill. It's so hard to hit on a Justin Jefferson or Chase and that draft was the exception. Did ATL regret trading the house for Julio Jones, that's debatable. Our window of opportunity to pair Bryce with a rookie WR is small because it takes time for them to develop. This is hoping that Mingo will ball out and reach his max potential. TMJ is our Mingo 2 years ago.
  5. That's the point, define "competent, legit NFL WRs." Is that our current WR room? Is the answer already on the roster?
  6. We need to accept that the 2022 QB draft class was crap and MC is not good. Everyone was reaching for a QB even Pittsburgh who took Pickett in the first round. If Tennessee thought Willis had potential then why did they draft Levis this year? The fact that our new staff moved on from MC shows that he wasn't worth it, they came in with unbiased opinion. We as the fanbase wanted a QB so bad that we fooled ourselves into believing MC had untapped potential. We need a WR so bad, we believe that TMJ just needs a good QB to be good.
  7. I'm projecting Fitt's draft history to this class. I do hope that we hit on difference makers in this draft but history tells us it's not likely to happen. Our team is devoid of talent outside of a few players. We've had way more misses than hits that's all I'm saying.
  8. I will say that zavala has the most potential to contribute and be impactful but again it's due to injuries to both of our guards, he gets the start by default. You can find good interior offense linemen in the mid-late rounds. It's like saying that Keith Taylor and Stanly Thomas Oliver were great late round picks because our CBs were hurt and they played. These 2 CBs are no longer on the roster.
  9. I'm judging Fitt on his previous draft classes too. This is his 3rd draft for the Panthers, we've given Hurney crap for his draft history outside of 1st round draft picks, why can't we judge Fitt's draft history? Zavala and Mingo are starters more due to injury and lack of talent at their positions. I hope these picks pan out, but show me a pro bowl player that Fitt drafted?
  10. The only reason why TMJ is getting this many opportunities is because of his 2nd round status. Fitt's draft classes have left a lot to be desired. I don't know many players that he has drafted who have consistently contributed or made impacts beyond the 1st round. Outside of Christensen and Chinn, who else? This year's draft class outside of Bryce is very suspect as well, the only contributor might be Mingo.
  11. But...but...but, Horn played a whole season for me in Madden 24!!!
  12. Having an Alpha WR will do that for you! We need to find our alpha WR!
  13. Did people forget that Joe Burrow, the highest paid player in NFL history only threw for 82 yards? And our fanbase choose to bash on a rookie QB who is making his first NFL start. Bryce showed a lot of poise yesterday and wasn't rattled even after throwing 2 INTs. I'm more concerned that there wasn't a real sense of urgency into the 4th quarter from the coaching staff and play calling. Expecting Bryce to take over and deliver a 2 score come from behind 4th quarter win is tough. The team needs to play well and score from the beginning to help him protect a lead, not come from behind. Overall Bryce showed me all that I expected from a rookie QB.
  14. Our team is still talent deficient. Our WRs are definitely a problem, people running wrong routes or not being on the same page as Bryce is unacceptable. We have the QB position down, now we need to build around him and get some real talent!
  15. Our team needs to find weapons for Young to grow and succeed with. Tonight shows that even a generational talent and franchise QB can't do it all by himself.
  16. Let me translate what JT is saying when he says "Bryce has world class anticipation." "BRYCE CAN SEE INTO THE FUTURE!"
  17. This all day!! Finally the QB position is not a weakness, if anything it's a strength. We have to surround Bryce with alphas on the outside to make it easier on him and to generate big plays. It's no coincidence that Bryce has targeted Theilan more often because he is a savvy veteran and Bryce trusts him more than the other WRs. I think this season will hinge on our skill positions and not the QB. Burrow isn't as successful without Chase, Mahomes without Kelce, Allen without Diggs. Even prime Cam had Olsen.
  18. Frank Reich also has no excuses to not perform well anymore too. Outside of having Andrew Luck, he's been handicapped with poor QBs. He now has the staff that he has chosen, the QB he has chosen, and an owner who has given him all that he needs to succeed. If he doesn't succeed here in Carolina, he may never get a chance at a HC gig anymore in the future.
  19. Maybe Simmons is a bust, but I also don't trust the Cardinals to develop players. Hassan Reddick is an example, some of their draft picks have gone on to have stable careers outside of Arizona.
  20. Kind of ironic how Indy sees his value as a 1st round pick but also won't give him a new contract? Tough times to be a RB.
  21. I think the frustration with this team is not winning or losing in the preseason but more about how the team is performing. This team just looks unorganized and undisciplined, that doesn’t matter if it’s preseason or not. You need to execute no matter what. I don’t mind losing as long as we look like we are competing on the field, 2 games in preseason and we just look terrible
  22. If he can find contact, dude whiffed pretty hard on that near TD run and gave up afterwards. Steve Smith was pretty critical of Jammie on that play.
  23. Fitt out here measuring each OL's arm length, oh wait that was last regime's standards, or was it...?
