It has been said by analyst that Burns is the #7 to #12 best ranked player at his position. So I just believe he’s going to want to be paid in the range of his rank!
-
I don’t believe there is any way he signs for less than $22M/avg yr. My $24.5M (salary, guaranteed, signing bonus, and etc) figure is what will be the average/yr when you take total contract ($)/yr!
-
I know there are several forum about Brian Burns and his contract. I’ve been researching and taking in other DE contracts. Compared to others I’d just give y’all ideals of a possible contract. IMO 24.5M/yr 4 year contract: 24.5x4=$98M 5 year contract: 24.5x5=$122.5M IMO Guaranteed:$72M on 4yr deal Guaranteed:$90M on 5yr deal

IMO I’d put Robinson in a role like Jeremy Chinn as Nickel since he’s so versatile. Players and Coaches are raving on his ball skills and his ability of learning the defensive playbook so fast. He could be a backup to Chinn’s position when it’s used in the defense!

Person: Tepper indicates he's learning and changing his approach

People keep bringing up the hq/practice facility in rock hill. Rock Hill Neged on their promises. But 2020 and Covid screwed everything up once they was able to go back to work the price of steel had increased 350% from contracted price. They had spent $170 million for the steel already in the project the cost of that same steel after 2020 would have cost $595M. The project was suppose to be a $1B project would have ended up to be between $1.75 to $3.5B! -
(1) Bryce Young, QB (Alabama) (39) Will McDonald IV, Edge (Iowa St.) (93) Darius Rush, CB (S. Carolina) (114) Jonathan Mingo, WR (OMiss) (132) Chandler Zavala, OG (NC St.) (145) Zack Kuntz, TE (Old Dominion) or Nick Hampton, Edge/LB (App St.) * All this is based off NFLDRAFTBUZZ, Players Tape, and other studies including NFL Draft sites used to research prospects* * Then a lot of the 30 personal visits would be good ***UDFA*** (65 active on roster, 6 draft picks, and then 19 FA/UDFA) to fill the 90 man roster

I think we’ll sign bumper pool as a UDFA

Joe Person presents: Panthers 7-round mock draft spectacular
razorwolf replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is my favorite mock draft just my opinion! https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/lists/2023-nfl-draft-panthers-espn-seven-round-cj-stroud/ -
You can’t compare him to Watt, and say he’s going to request that type of money. Burns sack average is 9.5! Watt sack average is 12.6, but he also had a season of 22.5 sacks! Crosby money the most likely contract that Burns will get!
-
4yr/100M is a reach because that’s $25M/yr. This is his second contract so it would look more like a 5yr/$110M with probably $60M guaranteed!
-
Just a thrown out ideal for a extension: 4yr/$76.5M w/$45M guaranteed! Its a little under average contract today, but could be a reasonable contract for both parties!

Why Bryce young will be the pick and we should be excited

Big Board & Pick 39: Offensive Skill Player Rankings
razorwolf replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
JMO My Big Board Panther Selections 1st round (1): CJ Stroud, QB 2nd (39): Adetomiwa Adebaware, Edge (dream he won't be available at this pick) 3rd (93): Jonathan Mingo, WR 4th (114): Drew Sanders, LB 4th (132): Roschon Johnson, RB 5th (147): Josh Whyle, TE -
PJ Walker is not under contract! Being a RFA doesn't mean they was re-signed. The only RFA that has re1signed is Sam Franklin, S today.

Panthers are now the betting favorite for the #1 pick
razorwolf replied to Martin's topic in Carolina Panthers
2016: The trade between Rams and Titans. Tennessee gave up trade value of 3104.2 and received trade value of 3365! From the research I’ve done in 2001: The trade between Chargers and Falcons. Chargers gave up trade value of 3000 and received trade value of 2376! (Chargers must have received something else to match what they gave up in trade value) -

If I understand the trade value table correctly from researching it (3) 1st round would be a trade value of 3100! -

razorwolf replied to Martin's topic in Carolina Panthers
For Colts to move up 3 spots would cost them (2) 1st round and (2) 3rd round not saying that is what would be offered, but trade value would need to be at least 3160, and for Panthers (us) to move up 8 spots would cost (2) 1st and (2) 2nds; not saying that is what should be offered, but trade value would need to be around 3280. Trade value for the #1 spot is 3000! -
I don’t really have a problem with Bryce Young! But Young would need to get in the weight room with a good trainer and nutritionist to bulk up probably another 15 lbs. But I know that doesn’t mean he’d have anymore durability. Between Levis and Richardson it’s front office personnel team preference, but Richardson did blow everyone away. But Levis and Richardson is disadvantaged because the talent around them was lacking compared to Young and Stroud!
-
I’m probably on my own but this is JMO! I’d be going for the 1st pick because I think that’s probably the only way you’d snag CJ Stroud because I believe he’s the #1 rated QB in this draft. The trade package would probably need to be 2023: 1st round and (1 of the) 2nd round pick; 2024: 1st round and 2nd round pick!

IMO To keep Boze as a panthers or any team you’d have to pay him around $7.5-10M, but I know no less than $7.5M+.

Coaching Staff: Final Pieces (as of 2-23-23)
razorwolf replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
IMO Id prefer a different S&C, but don’t know who.
