Well last year the first team offense struggled against the Bills 3rd string defense. First string offense needed to convert a 4th down to score a TD. If the starters play against backups and do what they are supposed to do, score easily, I’d say the reps are worth it. Would make me feel better. Unlike last preseason.

I have watched it a few times. Maybe I am a masochist, but I just find the game fascinating. It is a master-class in “What can go wrong will.” Panthers defense came to play and the offense was not nearly as bad as a lot of people remember. Gano field goal miss after a strong drive to begin the second half. Cam’s tip interception after a 42 yard pass that set us up in Broncos territory. Tolbert uncharacteristic fumble after he was gashing the Broncos defense. Defense played very well but could not capitalize on some good opportunities like they did during the season. It is such a weird, weird game.

I will know what to feel after the Panthers first offensive and defensive series. Till then the Kool-Aid is remaining in the packets and I am taking a wait and see approach.

2016 will go down as one of the worst drafts I have ever witnessed.

I do not like the 2015 comparisons. We had a good defense with an elite core and an offense with a good core. This entire team is still a question mark and I will be surprised if we win 9 games.
