    At least Rivera got the Super Bowl, and then lost is because he refused to adjust. Rod’s likely will never get to the Stanley Cup unless the team he coaches is stacked and can overcome Rods weird decisions making.

    Rod reminds me of a guy who will find a way of beating a video game and the minute he encounters something that makes him adjust he can’t do it. Also reminds me of Ron Rivera. Doesn’t matter if it isn’t working right now it will work eventually. I have come to the conclusion that Rod just is not a good strategist.

    It is hard not to feel hopeless. There is some hope buried behind a hopeless wall but the hopeless wall is thick. Going off of the last two games I don’t see how we win. Team looked utterly defeated on Thursday, kinda like the Leafs did when the Panthers tied the series 2-2, and we all know how that ended. I hope for the best. I will at least turn on the game for a little while.

    I feel like if the Canes ever make the Cup with Rod as coach it will be in spite of him not because of him. Like we will have a really good team that just wins. Kinda like the 2015 Panthers. That team pretty much carried Ron to the Super Bowl.

    I've been temp banned from r/Braves for just posting "Best team in Baseball" after they were eliminated by the Phillies in 2023. Lesson learned: Mods are testy after a loss, especially after a series loss.

    People will say there are still more games but the Panthers are clearly the better team. What will it say for Rod’s coaching legacy if we get swept a third time in the ECF? Seem like whenever we get to the ECF we face a team that can take advantage of all of our weaknesses and we can’t take advantage of any of theirs.

    I am completely surprised the refs let that one count. I mean it was an obvious deflection by the skate but the way reffing was happening in the first period I was not expecting that goal to count.
