No it is not. Being able to elevate the team and not rely on your RB to run 200 yards every week is what makes a franchise QB. Bryce still is not it and needs to be replaced.

Team seems to have figured out how to win with Bryce. Play teams with terrible run defenses and bad pass defenses and you will win with Bryce.

Cool deal. I know, from the last game, we had a few defensive breakdowns that led to frustrating goals but also Freddie has been struggling so I wondered if it continued this game. Hope it works itself out as the season goes along.

After Rhule you would think Tepper would have not been stupid, again, and given an unproven HC a 3 or 4 year contract. I think that was what Richardson gave Rivera. 6 years makes no sense for an unproven HC.

Ward has shown more potential then Bryce ever did his rookie season.

I never even realized that until he said it that as soon as Young has to start moving he can’t throw the ball more than 10 yards. He is absolutely right.

Bryce's situation reminds me of Rivera in 2012. Rivera should have been fired after the 2012 season, but he fired off some wins and got to keep his job. Bryce should have entered the offseason with no guarantee that he was going to be the starter and we bring in competition. Instead he "played well" and got to keep his job with no competition brought in. I do not understand why they thought Dalton would be good enough. Dalton should have been let go and we should have brought in someone younger with at least a smidge of potential. Even if that was a late round pick.

What does that have to do with anything? Even if we had a burner Bryce would not be able to throw to him reliably. They ran it on 3rd and 10 because Canales does not trust Bryce. Bryce is not an NFL QB and never should have been drafted 1st overall. He was at best a 6th or 7th rounder.

What happened with everyone saying this draft was QB stacked and now I see everyone saying no one is worth a first round pick.

You could probably write a book on how Bryce fooled NFL scouts into thinking a barely 5’10” person with a very weak arm could be an NFL QB.
