Kenyon Sadiq, who goes to the Panthers at No. 13 overall in a new seven-round mock draft from Pro Football Network. "Tight ends aren’t traditionally valued this high, and Carolina has needs elsewhere. But the value isn’t great at EDGE or CB, and Kenyon Sadiq can make a big impact on offense for Bryce Young. At 6’3″, 255 pounds, Sadiq is an explosive and compact two-phase weapon who can splice through zones, stem up slot DBs, make high-difficulty catches, and accrue RAC as a pass-catcher, while driving EDGEs off the ball in the run game." I wonder with Evans and Tremble would be better off going LB or OLB first.

He will get one more year just as Mingo did. If he is still not catching on he will be trade bait before the trade deadline or he could be released in the final cut, and we just wipe our hands of the hold thing. I say they will take another WR in the next draft. just to give Young another option. Young has his 4th and 5th year even if he wins just 1 of the next 4 games.

there are many NFL QB who don't make that pass perfectly on every attempt. We even seen Mr Young attempt it many times and he has been low, high, behind, or too far in front. It takes time and practicing it over and over to get it right. Maybe he is finally starting to understand the art of throwing. Josh Allen didn't get better till his 3rd year in the league, and it was his 4th year it all came together for him. Even Drew and Baker weren't great QB's at the start.

A question no one is asking about Bryce and The Panthers

that is what makes a box of chocolates so much fun to eat. Never know what you are getting into until you taste what you have. What gets me will this be another game we wait till we are behind and come back to win it with no time on the clock left, or just be blown out from the very start. -
This team makes you want to cry but then they do what they do against the Falcons and you want to hug them. They do play and not ready to take on the big boys and last week spanking was needed to keep their heads on straight. This team we never know whivh team will show up.

DAMN!!!!!!! What a game. When I got off work, we were down 21 7. I was dreading watching this game. After Young foot was stepped on by Zavala i resigned myself that it was over and they fought back and had nothing shouldn't hang their heads over the lost.. Once again Young did his thing and we come back to win it. DAMNI!!!! WHAT A GAME! -

As well as I DB's tackle last week. They were just as bad this week. I guess the game plan was to work on the DL this year and work on get dawg LB's next year. Scourton is coming on and will only get better. I think Umanmielen will be better next year. Both are playing well.

With the way Young, Horn, Hubard, Icky, and McMillian played they could all be sat. Sorry I want to know about Horn's two slips that led to touchdowns. Was he wearing ice skates today. I lost count of how many missed tackles we had today. -

This team is playing like a bunch of JV's today. Our vets other than Brown are not got their heads in the gamer at all. -

We just can't win today. They want thbis game more than we did. Reverse of the Greeb Bay game. -
the only thing that is really special about Young. Look at the last 5 4th quarter drives he has done where we were behind or tied. He has 9 4 quarter game winning drives he has led and didn't give the ball back to the other team. The only drive he left with time remaining is that one with KC. We have to give the defense the blame for that loss. He would have 11 game winning drives if it wasn't for Leggette dropped passed against Philly and the KC game. That is the only thing I see that would keep Carolina from letting him walk if he was a UFA and not having that special guy in the fold to take his place.

Depends on if the Panthers find that diamond in the rough FQB in the next years draft or the following year. No more than 10 to 12 million a year, and that is speculative on how well he does next year.
-
well we better not win any more game this year, but I doubt we get a QB who will dislodge Young till his 5th year is up. He has given Tepper enough hope to keep him there unless we find a Dart like NY Giants did in last years draft.
-
don't disagree but they took a chance on Allen, and Allen worked to become the talent he is today. No Young is not Allen and never will be, but he is better than Dalton and we can design plays, so Young has better vision on who he is throwing to. DC has made Young a better QB in just the last year and half. Next year he will be better. Great no. Better yes.

Why do people think Bryce Young won this game yesterday?
cmichd08 replied to RumHam's topic in Carolina Panthers
Forgot about that personal foul on Rico. It cost us a point. That point could have made the difference. Green Bay had their chances too on Sunday. Jackson should have caught that ball too. Would have made a difference in how the last drive could have been played out. Would he had run for a TD or would he gotten far enough for a field goal. Who knows he didn't catch the ball, so we had to start at the 11 yard line and Young and Rico did march us down the field and didn't give back the ball back to Green Bay with anytime left on the clock. Team win yesterday. -
Worked for Buffalo. No Young is not Allen, but Allen had to learn how to throw certain passes before he became what he is today. Young can learn that too. Fran Tarkenton was not a tall QB, but he learned and the coaches worked to his strengths to make him a great QB. Young is starting to throw with some zip on his balls. Maybe a small roll out to give better looks. Takes time. That first year was a killer for him and the team. We can see improvements since his first year. Next year he will show more. I am not a Young fan but I will take him over an old washed up QB any day.
-
Must remember Rico is playing for that extension whether it be in Carolina or elsewhere. Teams are looking and wondering what it will take to get him with the way he is performing with the Panthers
-
It was a great game, and the Packers took us for granted. Makes up for the game in 2023 when they came to our house and beat us.
-
not unless Hooker or White can take over for Andy if Young gets hurt and we can get a return for releasing him early. He will stay and Hooker or White will be the 2nd string starting next year unless we draft a backup in the 2nd or 3rd round. I see us getting a dawg of a linebacker next year in the 1st and 2nd round or the 1st and 3rd round next year. The QB class is supposed to be better this year so a 2nd or 3rd round pick would not be out of line if needed.
-
Well they better sign him to a decent deal or he walks this year, and we get nothing for him. Actually they could get the same for Chuba and let it be known that Dowdle is our #1 back. I like him but I doubt he will be here next year.
-
After we release Dalton tomorrow, who do we sign?
cmichd08 replied to sonburst4's topic in Carolina Panthers
He won't be here next year. We should have saw it in the preseason games he played. He could have cared less about his play as he laughed and joked when he went to the sideline. -
he is losing so he can end up with Manning from Texas
