  1. People really overthink this. Go knock on the damn Panthers door and tell them to stop winning games if it bothers you so much. People act like if you cheer for a win you are part of the problem or something. You think people cheering for wins or losses makes some kind of difference? Damn this place is full of whiny bitches.
  2. Who are you asking to not screw up the draft position? I mean, just begging the universe in public?
  3. Anyone know how many players are mic'd up in any given game? Seems like if a player has an impact game, they happen to be mic'd up. Just curious if it's coincidence or if half the team is mic'd up any given game.
  4. Curious what happens here after a couple years and we draft someone out of Nebraska. The meltdown will be epic.
  5. You're not wrong with this being a contract year for him, but technically every player on every roster in the NFL is playing for their future.
  6. The tape is their resume. I know I wouldn't risk an extra a few million in my next contract just because I'm on a bad team. Foreman could get a pretty decent next contract from somebody if he can get back to having 100+ yards a game.
  7. Hmm. Maybe I should have worded different. We are fans. I should have said they I suppose. Because they probably want to win and we are just along for the ride either way.
  8. I was curious how the team would respond after last week's heartbreaker. Clearly it broke this team. I wonder if we'll win another game this year.
  9. Remember when there was a whole thread about his knees?
  10. Idk I only watched the first quarter. He had one target. He dropped it.
  11. They need players who can catch. Our receivers are worthless
  12. So apparently those who play us this year are left with a curse afterwards. No team has broken it, yet. "When the Falcons face the Chargers on Sunday, they'll be trying to do something that no other team in the NFL has done this season: Win their first game after facing the Carolina Panthers. In one of the most bizarre streaks of the year, every team that has faced the Panthers this season has gone on to lose its next game. It doesn't matter how any team did in their actual game against the Panthers, this curse only impacts their next game: They always lose." https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/this-bizarre-nfl-streak-has-already-claimed-seven-victims-in-2022-and-it-could-claim-another-one-in-week-9/
  13. Why is parking $81? Why not $80 or $85, for example?
  14. When will everyone learn. Take a damn QB. We have been not taking QB's for years now. How has that worked out? If they think whomever could be a NFL starter at QB, you draft him and find out. Don't let another team find out. Don't pass on Allen, Mahomes, and Jackson for an elite DE. That elite DE isn't scoring you a lot of touchdowns. I'm at the point now we have our LT, any pick in the top 10 not a QB is a luxury pick. We can't afford luxury picks.
  15. Metaphorically speaking, if you show up every week wearing the other team's jersey, are you really a fan?
  16. Let me put it this way... You have a 99% chance to win if you do X. You have a 95% chance to win if you do Y. X is kick that field goal. It was the right decision. I think Wilks is too conservative. But in that very specific circumstance, that's the right call 100% of the time. The couple of runs got some yards and got us to XP range. An XP is waaaaay easier and is 99% a gimme compared to putting the ball in the air and kicking from further back or worst getting an interception. What you say then when he's gung ho for the TD well within FG range and things don't work out? Nah get outta here with that. It's not like we settled for a 53 yard attempt.
  17. No, you are wrong here. That is a XP range we were in. The chance of an interception or fumble is higher than missing that kick. Hell, I would have kicked the field goal on the 1st down to avoid any chance of a fumble. Was it safer to kicker the field goal yes? Yes. Was it smarter than being risky with the football in that situation? Also yes.
  18. I don't think that is what was said. It's been a couple hours since I watched it, but I'm pretty sure... They saw Kamara was available from somewhere (twitter, grapevine, w/e.) Called them. Got no response back, so they did no research. Media reported they were rejected.
  19. I was speaking straight from a trade negotiation standpoint. The front office was looking at a 2nd a 3rd equivalent. All front offices use trade charts and that's how they would have weighed this offer.
  20. Draft picks value decrease as well. Essentially the Rams offered us a 2nd and a 3rd. And depending on where that team is....in the future....those picks could be a late 2nd and late 3rd. Would have been moronic to take those "1st's". The coach after our next coach would have loved to have them I guess.
