  1. I thought this too. I was surprised Wilks didn't come up. But then that turf question...
  2. With this context, I agree Tepper doesn't owe him poo. It'll all come down to the wording of the contract. It's arbitration and this is a strong argument. Don't know if arbitration has a discovery process, but Rhule might not have a leg to stand on with this.
  3. I'd say at this stage it somewhat is. Obviously the QB room is very important, and he said they've had some conversations about current players. But let's be honest, player evaluations isn't what he's doing right now. He needs a staff, first and foremost. I doubt Reich has evaluated very much tape at all. He's had the job for two days, the question was too soon.
  4. Wasn't he interim OC when Joe Brady was fired? And wasn't he even worse?
  5. Best news all day. Oline should be just as good if not better than last year if the starting 5 remain unchanged.
  6. I'd actually be okay with this too - with Reich calling the plays.
  7. This is the tweet people are basing their assumptions on. It doesn't say he has any commitments, or anyone lined up, or anything like that. He's talked to a bunch of people already. Nothing more, nothing less. I think this means more or less instead of "here's a list of people I'd like to talk to" Frank Reich said "here's a list of people I've already talked to".
  8. The tweet didn't say anyone was committed, it just said he'd already interviewed several candidates. Essentially getting a leg up on the coordinator search. But no indication anyone was locked in.
  9. My biggest concern is the second choice is Bradley. Do not want.
  10. There's no way Reich had contract details nailed down previously. Fangio, or whomever, may have told Reich they were interested but contract negotiations fall apart. Not really on the HC in that situation.
  11. And it was night and day after that hit. It was immediately obvious that Cam was a different player. I thought he'd get better, come back the next year, then the damn foot in fuging preseason.
  12. Yeah until *insert name here* (Myles Garrett maybe) snaps him in half. I think Bryce Young is the best, most ready QB in this class. He has the most important thing for a QB - the brains. I just dont' think he's going to stay on the field for long.
  13. I was a little curious about that as well. Pretty sure he calls Sacramento home and returns there in the offseason.
  14. I shouldn't have read any of the last thread and just waited for this excellent and accurate recap.
  15. To me, I think Steve Wilks could get us to the Super Bowl eventually. I don't think he can make us a perennial contender though.
  16. Because winning is fun and we watch football for fun.
  17. I think it's an oversized bath towel that he has wrapped in a really interesting way.
  18. Would have been funny if you locked the thread with that reply. Missed opportunities.
  19. All press conferences are under oath under penalty of perjury. Did you not know this?
  20. People really overthink this. Go knock on the damn Panthers door and tell them to stop winning games if it bothers you so much. People act like if you cheer for a win you are part of the problem or something. You think people cheering for wins or losses makes some kind of difference? Damn this place is full of whiny bitches.
  21. Who are you asking to not screw up the draft position? I mean, just begging the universe in public?
  22. Anyone know how many players are mic'd up in any given game? Seems like if a player has an impact game, they happen to be mic'd up. Just curious if it's coincidence or if half the team is mic'd up any given game.
  23. Curious what happens here after a couple years and we draft someone out of Nebraska. The meltdown will be epic.
