I'm relieved we split with the Falcons. It's a damn shame we got swept by the Saints considering all the changes in the division. Now we have to make sure we beat the Bucs. Can't get swept by Baker Mayfield. Come on now.

Actually most of the hate has been directed upon the players who helped with the game winning drive. Chuba was spectacular today. Mingo and Chark both had clutch grabs and they've been trashed left and right here. But I haven't seen the same level of hand wringing to defend them. And we didn’t trade a first overall and a top ten player at a position of need for them. The whole offense played better today. But at the end of the day the whole offense goes as the QB goes. Bryce was dialed in on that final drive. Hopefully we see more of that going forward.

Win is a win. He did enough to win. 9 points are 9 points though. There were similar posts like this made after the Texans game and then Bryce and the offense proceeded to freefall. I have zero expectations for the rest of the season. Next season is when I expect big things regardless of coaching personnel or any other circumstance. I will not be lowering the bar any further than it already has but that's my own personal opinion.

Honestly the "I'm a better fan than everyone else because I never complain" crowd have made this place just as if not more toxic.

Not a good omen for Bryce Young considering he makes Teddy Bridgewater look like Cam Newton physically. No hard feelings for Teddy though. He let everyone know what time it was with the used car salesman. Of course it took bumbling Tepper many months later to figure it out.

This is beginning to check out unfortunately. What makes it even more sad is it was CJ Stroud who got the mistreatment through the draft process and he didn't even do anything wrong. All he did was show he's a baller with top end arm talent. While BY was ducking the combine. Beyond the physical questions I just don't know that Young is ever going to be "that guy" in a locker room. He is very soft spoken. For all the talk of leadership I rarely see any spark from him on the field. It would be nice to see some kind of fire or really anything to give us the impression he gives a poo. His general vibe and demeanor reminds me of this.

It all comes back to Tepper. He was hyper focused on thinking we're a QB away and he directed his yes man Scott Fitterer to do his bidding. The attempts to acquire a QB got more and more desperate each time to the point we finally backed ourselves into a corner that could seal our fate for the next few years minimum. And at a time where our division and the NFC is ripe for the taking. Fug the Tepper's.

FYI he was here before the draft under a different username and he was the most toxic pro Bryce Young poster to the point he got banned for being excessively abusive to others who did not share his view.

I do believe Reich did want Stroud. Go back and look at his proday. But in the end Reich was a dinosaur and I think it just was not a match one way or another. Should have hired Steichen. But Tepper didn't want some young guy who had never been a head coach before telling him what's what. Conversely he didn't want Wilks either. Reich was just the type of man Tepper could overshadow and manipulate and he wouldn't make a big fuss. That should tell you how completely screwed we are for the foreseeable future.

Some of these folks should speak to Tepper about getting on the payroll. No reason not to get paid if they are going to spend their free time towing the company line.
