Actually initially Mike Evans gave the ball away to a random Bucs fan. Tom asked for it back because it "means so much" to him and the fan obliged reluctantly. He got some basic signed gear some tickets and that was it. Then Tom turned around and sold it for half a million dollars and unretired. And yet people in this fanbase are still clamoring to give him his "respect"

Meh. That whole situation seems like a powder keg. Thomas is unpredictable and both Kamara and Watson have legal issues that will still be in the public eye and possible suspensions looming. There are multiple ways that marriage could go sideways this is the Saints we are talking about.

Respect only goes so far. Brady may "respect" someone in the offseason but on gameday he wants to run up the score and have his team kick our teeth in. We can be the "aw shucks congratulations Mr. Brady" franchise and stay in the basement or we can get on their level.
