  1. Out of the three I am most indifferent to the Bucs. At the same time. They hold bragging rights over us and the rest of the division with two titles. They can get fuged they've had their time to shine and their future hall of famers they haven't suffered by any means. So while I can't say I despise them as much as the Saints or Falcons I will still unequivocally root for them to lose every single time. We need to stop farting around give them a run for their money already.
  2. You could be right in the end. But the Panthers homer in me doesn't want to hear all that lol.
  3. I love Thomas Davis but I don't think he'll make it. Steve Smith Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly are what I would refer to as eventual locks. It's not a matter of if just when. It could be a long while though. I do see Olsen as having a good chance. People forget he actually had the record at the time for most consecutive 1k yards seasons for a TE with three. Kelce shattered it of course with seven consecutive which is insane. But still. That's rare company.
  4. Love to see it but also a double edged sword there as Horn took some similar abuse last season. Best you can hope for is iron sharpening iron and everyone comes out better prepared.
  5. That's good let them cook. I'll take pissed off over apathetic all day.
  6. Meh I would rather hear him admit his mistakes than just pretend like he's been doing everything right. All that matters are the results on the field. Let's see that and go from there before bashing him just for being honest.
  7. It is worth noting the fanbase has long held a love hate relationship with PFF over the years. Now that we are employing some of their people and actively using their data in our roster building approach going forward this should serve as the end all be all to any debate. This is either going to end really well or really bad. It's the Panthers. So save your energy and give it some time.
  8. The loser mentality is definitely prevalent unfortunately. It can even trickle down to the fanbase and if you've looked around enough you've seen it. Although I think Hornets fans are wired differently than Panthers fans in that regard. The biggest thing with Princely or any of these other 1st or 2nd year players is backing it up. And there is a thin line between confidence and being a cocky jackass. But for now we definitely need more alpha energy and guys willing to set an example and I welcome it with open arms. Think about how much this fanbase griped about Brian Burns. That's why I've said just let these young guys be themselves and see where it takes us. Don't try to squash their confidence over small things. That's what we've been begging for so let it play out.
  9. I agree. I just don't know what the market looks like for him. I mean WR trades the last few years the returns are minimal. Even a guy like Hopkins who is 33 only got a 5th in return when he was traded to the Chiefs last year. Unfortunately I feel it's likely at the end of the day that we are virtually the only team valuing Thielen the way we do.
  10. All I can say for sure is his confidence is a very very welcome addition to this pass rush group. Just gotta keep backing it up. But we definitely need all the juice we can get on the defensive line. Give me this all day.
  11. We shouldn't "want" to trade LaMelo. It's basically in his hands. My view of the situation is the Hornets are basically letting LaMelo control his own destiny this season. He will either dial in and do everything he needs to do in order to stay on the basketball court and help this team compete for the playoffs. Or he will run it back with the same old same old and they will give the young guys the keys.
  12. This might apply to some other teams but I don’t see it for our Panthers. We've started out sluggish or horrific the last 2 seasons. While we don’t need to "win" in preseason we certainly need reps and to look fairly competent. This team cannot have anymore of these flat out ass whoopings when the season opener finally rolls around. And unfortunately that's been the norm the last few seasons.
  13. It isn't unheard of nowadays but it still stinks for the fans. And at the end of the day the franchise has been abysmal so it isn't like they are trying to hide something special from prying eyes lol.
  14. At this point maybe some traffic cones eventually.
  15. I'm certainly hoping and expecting the young receivers to give us a significant boost but best in the league is a tall order. Did the Tepper's slide Ocho Cinco a bag to get him talking like this?
  16. I liked Hogan as a kid growing up. Was never avidly into watching wrestling but I did appreciate many of the stars and used to play the WWE games way back. I remember watching Hulk Hogan in some cheesy movies there was one with Tiny Lester. I don't care to wade into his politics but it's very very very very very unfortunate that Terry never made a real attempt to atone for his disgusting racism. Might as well have incinerated everything he ever did to that point. Ohwell.
  17. Unfortunately it's a different time now and some things change for the worse. Hope you and the family enjoy yourselves.
  18. Happy to be seeing good things from our 2 of our top 3 rookies. Now just need a Scourton sighting.
  19. In 2023 Thielen was 10th in receptions and 14th in targets. In the entire league. We had the 32nd passing offense. There is zero correlation between Thielen getting targets/receptions and actually winning games anymore than there is with Renfrow.
  20. And one final point. If the collective "we" (FO Staff players fans) are so full of dread at the possibility of someone laying a finger on Bryce Young. Why did we make absolutely zero effort to add another young QB to the QB room who isn't a UDFA trashcan or a guy pushing 40 on his 5th team in 5 years? Inquiring minds would like to know.
  21. It's not okay for 29 year old Renfrow to be 3rd in receptions but it is okay for soon to be 35 year old Thielen? Gotta love the huddle.
  22. I've been a fan of the team for 20+ years. Never seen so much hand wringing over a rookie defender making a simple mistake while showing potential we've been begging for to the point we've eviscerated guys like Brian Burns countless times for low effort. Especially the year after the team fielded the worst defense in league history. It's comical all around. Spin it however you like. As far as Canales. While I like him and have hope for him and have been vocal about the things he does well. Let's keep it completely 100 here. 31 other coaches last year didn't make it a point to sit their starters out as much as possible and then ended up getting their doors blown off in their first two games. Dave Canales has not yet earned the benefit of the doubt anymore than anyone else with this franchise until they finally post a winning record. And once again everything goes back to so and so allegedly hating Bryce Young. Because apparently no other QB for this franchise has ever been scrutinized before Bryce Young came along. Ridiculous.
  23. He was fined later on. But no flag because of course. Fug the Patriots. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2013/11/22/fines-marcus-cannon-leg-whipping-charles-johnson/3677955/
  24. Wow I had not thought about that bs moment in a long time. Can't believe that was twelve years ago! Yessir he's second only to Julius Peppers in franchise history sacks. He deserves to be honored. Hopefully that is not far off.
