I mean that should make you hesitant about any QB coming from a school with top recruits everywhere. Its just hard because most QBs are drafted to really bad programs (top 10) or get a rookie head coach. I think most QBs just have to be in near-perfect situations most of the time coming into the league. Ohio stat QBs haven’t had the luck of getting drafted to great franchises. I don’t think they were great players (haskins, fields) but i think if they could’ve ended up on better teams, it would’ve helped for sure

I mean there’s nothing else he can really say. He just has to produce or leave this season.

Im not a fan of justin fields, but i will say that at least 98% of his throws are right after he just got done running for his life.

I mean… no one’s forcing y’all to pay or be fans or to come to the huddle and cry lol. Sure it’s human nature to “react” but are we mad a player from wanting positivity from fans, or should we want our players to just speak up and say boo us so we can get a new coach.

I was gonna bump an old chuba thread (following the 2021 draft) but there was too much hope and optimism for that young man lol i was disgusted. But i too was hopeful at that time. Hopeful any rb could come in and save cmc from this workload.

Well in Rhules defense you posted a pre-game (away game) walk-out for the panthers and a celebration following a win for the lions.

They were missing a OT and a bit of depth at Corner (at least 3 out) as well

Can’t run a bunch of motion when you only play 3 receivers. They’d be exhausted. Joking aside, I expect to see more motion with Shenault active. He’s our “gadget guy” although i thought they’d put cmc and shi in motion more.

Random thought: I honestly feel like that was the quietest 100 yd rush game for cmc. Didn’t realize he had over a hundred till after the game.

Also last week we only played 3 WRs. We did the same this week. Last week we were accompanied by the Patriots as teams doing so. This week we were alone. I don’t see any reasons why TMJ and Higgins don’t see the field. Im willing to bet that TMJ will have production as soon as we get a new staff.
