  1. Nobody unless it's a king's ransom. We desperately need a blue chip player with our first pick. We can't get too cute and waste it. We're really not that far off competing.
  2. Rashawn Slater. NFL evaluators don't even know if he can sustain play at left tackle and think he needs moved inside. "With your number 8 pick, that could be used to find a slam dunk player, Rashawn Slater left.... GUARD!!!"
  3. We could have 3 WR who go over 1,000 receiving yards easily. This would be much better then what we had with curtis. Man! I just don't wanna take someone who's average. I know we have needs.. I just want a slam dunk. I'm not sold on slater so imo if Sewell is gone we need to take BPA... Everything will work itself out
  4. Why are we so sold on slater when the majority of draft pundits are questioning whether he's even going to be playing Left tackle? If it's not a true Left tackle I don't want him...
  5. Bottom line is I want a slam dunk. I like slater but is he a slam dunk??? Idk. Jamarr chase to me looks like a slam dunk.
  6. Also. Joe Brady had Jamarr at LSU.. could imagine he's halfway pounding the table for him if Pitts or Sewell aren't there
  7. Hear me out. I know we never invest in left tackles and this is a prime opportunity to do so, but if Kyle pitts and Penei Sewell are gone, would anyone really be MAD about picking Chase? By all accounts he's the best prospect we've seen since julio. Can you truly be mad taking Julio Jones at 8?
  8. Awful, awful, awful, and awful and would have been none of their faults
  9. Sorry you have the I.Q of a squirrel my boy. I'll be sure to make it perfect just for you. You need the extra help
  10. You've gotten more poo today with your takes then I have ever. I been paying attention. Might be time for you to make an Alt
  11. Oh okay so you're basically saying you're incapable of complex thinking and haven't put together all the variables. Could of just said so. Gotcha
  12. You mean teddy severely under-achieving with a top 5 offense in the league? Or did you mean Sam Darnold when he played for a team that everyone makes fun of?
  13. Actually it's been reported multiple teams were interested at one point when the price was too high and they were asking for a 1st or second. After free agency, after the 49ers trade, and after andy dalton there just wasn't any suitors left besides us.
  14. Deshaun watson would probably be the closest. But since zach wilson is sitting in your lap might as well take him
  15. Welcome to the board sir. Don't mind all the Poos you may receive from other posters here. You could have the most electrifying, interesting post with no intention of being a pest and still get pood.
  16. For what it's worth I was one of the ones deathly against the teddy idea. This Darnold idea is significantly more hopeful and appealing imo. Lol
  17. I mean, Adam gase does have a reputation fair or not of ruining QBs and teams... Darnold didn't exactly have weapons the same way we have weapons... Plus, the jets are an awful team period. There's so many variables are play. Playing for a team that's dysfunctional probably sucks the life out of you.
  18. I disagree. Teddy is not the better QB. Put the tape on side by side and let it speak for itself. While watching, take account that teddy has DJ moore, Robby and curtis.. and Darnold had jamison crowder as his best guy. And Adam gase. It's pretty laughable honestly. Darnold to me is easily better
  19. Waldo, you're telling me you aren't even a little excited about what could be?
  20. We have one of the most electrifying offenses across the board in the league. Joe Brady is a very highly regarded offensive coordinator. Some analysts are saying Rhule is the perfect guy for Darnold. Christian Mccaffrey is a top 3 security blanket in the league. If all else fails, you know you will have Mccaffrey open somewhere. If Pitts falls to us, I say we absolutely have to pull the trigger! The other 2 trustee security blankets in the league are Kittle and kelce. Pitts I imagine will be joining that group very soon. I could also see the argument for Sewell or slater at 8 to protect Samuel. Point is, if you're sam Darnold how do you fail with all that? You can't . This will be Sam's best year yet. He's also gonna be insanely motivated to change the narrative placed upon him during his jets career. He knows if he can't succeed here he's done. Lots to be excited about. Side question, if Sewell, slater and pitts are all available somehow who would you choose at 8?
  21. He's much better then teddy B. Put the tape side by side. Night and day. Don't believe anyone who says different. I'm hype
  22. Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to bump this thread one last time for today's special occasion. No matter how you feel about the situation, we now know the QB will be someone other then teddy bridgewater... That's plenty enough for me. All hope is back!!!! Everything matters again!
  23. Would taking surtain at 8 and sending our 2nd for JC jackson be overkill?
  24. It doesn't matter what the semantics are. The definitions. Any of that. We had enough information available to us at the time of the WFT game to know what needed to be done. The 3rd pick, the one we would have had, just got traded for 3 1's. And the team who did it still moved back to #6. We know teddy sucked at the end of the season. Everyone knew this QB class was gonna be insane. We knew the falcons would pick ahead of us if we won and they lost. Who cares about ego. Find a way to lose that game. Put in will grier
