  1. What about a tag and trade Burns for Tee Higgins? I would imagine the Bengals will be tagging and trading Higgins. I dont think they just let him walk. Saw recently where they have quite a bit of cap space. So maybe they elect to keep him. Would the Bengals take a straight up trade Burns for Higgins?

In Charlotte visiting my wife's family. Got surprised with tickets to the game this morning as a Christmas present.  I'm excited. Any idea where I should park/tailgate?

I always tailgate at Hopfly Brewing. Its very close to the stadium and they have only charged me once this season (first monday night game). Also delicious beers and nice bathrooms on site.

  3. Every year I get sucked back in. Believing the hype. By weeks 6 Ill be mostly checked out. I still attened most of the home games, but I have learned to just enjoy going for the tailgating and fellowship. I will always be a fan. It's burnt into my soul, but it's hard to be constant losers.

Watching the game yesterday at a local bar here in town. I live 1.5 hours from the stadium in SC. We were literally the only Panthers fans in a packed house. Steelers, Bengals, Commanders, 49ers, Falcons, and Browns were all well represented in the place. It's also Impossible to find any Panthers Gear or Items in general in these parts. I have to order online or drive up to Charlotte to find anything. It just seems like the fan base in SC is gone. It never was huge down here, but I'm about the only Panthers fan I ever see around this way. Been that way since about 2018-19 maybe.

  4. I know it's only preseason, but we had most of our offensive starters playing against their #2s. We also had zero energy or enthusiasm on offense. I know it was like 100° down there, but I would have liked to see a little more effort. Even BY looked like he didn't want to be there. Not hitting the panic button just yet, but Im going to need to see a big change next week. I just want entertaining football. Is that too much to ask? We have been so boring to watch for so long now.

  5. Pretty sure Charlotte is like the 9th largest city in the US. Could be wrong, i didn't look it up.  I know I've heard that before though. Also, Atlanta is relatively small. The difference is all of the cities/towns/areas surrounding Atlanta are also close to Atlanta's size and much bigger than the places surrounding Charlotte. This makes it way more crowded and seem like a larger city.

  6. Im going to both London and Munich in July. My first time in Europe. We are doing 3 weeks in Scotland, England, Belgium, and Germany. I'm sure ill be looking for a good excuse to go back. A Panthers game sounds like a perfect one.

  7. I just cant imagine a scenario where we trade up to #1 to draft, literally the smallest QB in NFL history. Just look at Lamar, Tua, and Kyler. None of them can stay healthy. All 3 are amazing QBs, but at the end of the day, if your missing 6 games per season how valuable are you, really? I think young will probably be better than all 3 of them. He will also probably suffer the same issues as them. Either way, if we pick him, I'm on board and he immediately becomes my guy. I just think CJ is the best pick, but I'm no scout or GM.

I just found a new one for you, I've been waiting for more Hendon Hooker breakdowns.

If we cant make the trade for #1 and only #1. I would rather take a chance with him with our late 2nd than Levis or AR at #9 or even a trade up for either of them. Obviously we would have to sign a veteran FA QB. Maybe trade for Mills from Houston. Use #9 for a WR, TE, or Edge.

  9. This off season we need to draft a play maker WR or TE at #9. Roll with Corral and a Vet like Mills from Houston. Corral didn't get an opportunity, and we spent a 2nd rd pick on him. Might as well see what he can do.

There will not be an elite QB at 9, and we would need to give up a lot to move ahead of everyone who wants one. If we are going to roll the dice and reach for a QB at 9, we might as well just try Corral instead.

  10. If we win the South, we aint getting a round 1 QB. Probably would even cost too much to move up. Like next years 1st as well. Might as well draft best available at that point. Lets get another weapon on offense or maybe another edge rusher or DT. We need to see what Corral has. Might as well try to sign Darnold for backup money. If he wants more let him walk. Go into the season with it being Corral's job to loose.

Because I know.  The Browns are not starting Baker Mayfield this season.  He will sit until he is traded, or at worst, we will keep him inactive all year and then receive a Compensatory 3rd rounder back in return once he is off the books.

Watson is QB1, Brissett is QB2, and Dobbs will be QB3 for OTA’s/Training Camp.

I look forward to seeing some of y’all down at BofA Stadium Week 1.  Should be a really good game.

I think I'm done with 1pm games early in the season. It's just too damn hot to watch a poo show. Our games should be at 4pm at least.

  12. Just give me at least one BoA primetime game. Preferably Pittsburgh, but any really. I'm going to Pittsburgh regardless only other game(s) i will attend this season are night games. Don't have any tailgate time for 1pm games. Hate 1pm games.

With some of the sourcing on this coming from Watson's camp, I don't doubt that they're going to try and paint him in the best light possible. With that said, the story still acknowledges it was the money that sealed the deal.

What honestly gets me the most about the story though is that there's so little mention of the Panthers. They were only referenced twice in the entire thing. Even with the focus being on the Browns, the Falcons and Saints are at least talked about more than just twice.

It comes off like the Panthers were never really that big a consideration.

I think he knew the Panthers were desperate and he and Houston were using us to drive up the demand.

  14. I didn't even want Watson. I did when the rumors first started last off season, but then when the cases came and all that, i just excepted that it wasn't going to happen. I also feel a lot worse about where the team is at, than I did then. I've just moved on and would rather use our picks to build a proper team. However, the last 2-3 days have done something to me. Reading and following along with you guys has got me really wanting to land him. Of course the Saints and Falcon also being in the running has alot to do with it.  I surely don't want him going there. It's been a fun few days, but I'm ready for this thing to end already.
