  1. Also I know the timelines don't match up, but he doesn't have the burden of that insane trade up we did for Bryce lol. I know some Bryce lovers want people to move on from that, but it's always going to be a factor in determining the bust level between him and anyone else we critique. Fields was just an average #11 pick, only knock on the Bears trying that in hindsight was they passed on Micah Parsons. The Panthers on the other hand really screwed the whole team and future draft picks up wasting like at least 4 years of our football watching lives.
  2. Jeez the first clip he had like 5 seconds and at least 3 open targets lol.
  3. I mean it would have been a lot cheaper for the same result. Per these stats I don't really get why Fields is actually lower lol. Plus a lot more traits for the "QB whisperer" to work with. Also the Jets sold at the trade deadline to tank so their defense is complete shite at this point.
  4. Yeah he can play the middle of the field when there is a 10x30 yard gap there and a wide open teammate. I'm assuming the credit on that one should go to the play design lol.
  5. I must say Sellers looked like ass today. Looks really slow in the pocket. I feel like Simpson would be a 2nd or 3 rounder in a good qb draft, more of a game manager type but it's slim pickings and there all like 7 teams ahead of us in the draft desperate for a qb so I don't see him falling to us, even if we could manage to move up to 9 or 10 in the draft with some L's he's probably gone. Plus i'm starting to notice a trend with these Bama qb's transitioning into the pros lol. Hasn't worked out great
  6. People are talking top 5 pick but i’d take him at 10 or wherever we end up , has a Brock Purdy kinda vibe
  7. Can’t believe this Simpson guy is like in the top 3 qb’s for the draft. That being said I’d take him over Bryce
  8. I mean I'd take Kyler and Jameis for $10M each and draft someone on day 2 or 3 and have a real camp battle before watching Bryce for another year, Kyler isn't worth more than that at this point, fair price for jameis and worst case scenario it would at least be entertaining win or lose
  9. Kyler is the exact situation we want to avoid with Bryce Young, that new contract for below average play because you are scared to move on. I would rather sign three different guys for $30M total and let them duke it out rather than pay Murray $35M per year to look like Bryce on steroids.
  10. Imagine how much lower it would be without that cheesy look away pass from last year. Assuming this is like some sportscenter top plays worthy throws
  11. Just too much pride in that trade up to admit they were wrong. It's obvious they also didn't intend on bringing in any serious competition the last two off seasons after his lackluster rookie season, kind of the complete opposite of what you want to do to field the best team you can put together.
  12. Should have got something for him in the early offseason, I'm sure Tepper would have not approved though
  13. Pretty sure that's what the Steelers tried with him and Wilson last year lol. It wasn't a complete disaster but we also don't have Mike Tomlin coaching our team.
  14. They do have 5 first round pick in the next two years, I feel like they already tried that strategy like 5 or 6 years ago though lol. The bad team vs qb supply and demand scale feels like it's getting pretty ridiculous with not much hope in sight coming from upcoming draft prospects.
  15. It's really head scratching why they're still starting him 10 weeks in. You'd think Aaron Glenn would want to see what him and the OC could do with Taylor who at least knows how to throw a football. It's not like there is really anyone to tank for in the upcoming draft
  16. Kinda surprised they've stuck with Justin Fields this far into the season, he's on record for a 2nd sub 100 yard passing game in a row. That said that probably should have been a catch right there lol.
  17. 28 on the CBS qb power ranking this week, still might be a little generous. 28 Bryce YoungCAROLINA PANTHERS QB No one should ever doubt his determination to translate college-level composure to the NFL stage, but we're two and a half years in, and Young still looks overmatched when it comes to throwing the rock. (-5)
  18. Jets are so screwed they think they're getting a leg up by not announcing who is starting at QB lol. That being said Tyrod still might be an upgrade to our qb room.
  19. Jets vs Pats tonight, probably not much to see on the Jets side. On another note Jameis gets the start for the Giants this week, worth seeing how he looks compared to what Wilson and Dart have done there with the same team.
  20. Not throwing at the combine, carrying 20 pounds of water weight, his deep ball looked like ass at his pro day, it was all there...
  21. Pretty sure he's choked in the red zone numerous times the last couple weeks after Rico did all the work to get them down there lol. So the sub 20 yard stuff not really working either
  22. This guy pre-draft was saying he could take or leave football, and he seems to have been playing with that mentality ever since lol.
