  1. I would take it over this clown show! The fluff is not working on me this offseason, didn't the last two either. You can tell a shitty boss has and is still meddling and micromanaging, but it's a business where he makes profit whether he puts out a good product or not so we're kinda fuged as fans
  2. I think we saw his super processor kick in after the Falcons game, he intentionally didn't attempt certain throws because he didn't trust his velocity, as well as some he probably just literally couldn't see where guys were on scramble drills. That takes away his whole "timing qb" thing many folks love to label him as. I guess they can try to game plan around it but it won't take opposing defenses very long to watch a little film and figure it out
  3. Can you imagine even PJ Walker coming in vs what we saw last year? They wouldn’t allow him to be out there launching bombs in preseason w Bryce sitting on the sideline
  4. Edge I guess is the new universal term for 4-3 DE/OLB yes. I think we’re pretty solid in the middle
  5. C, QB3 and DE can all be upgraded by most teams trash
  6. WW We're top of the waiver wire til regular season week 3 when they start the new rankings
  7. BY don't throw deep so they might like the red zone jump ball option
  8. Yeah, banking on his hands, vertical, height etc. Thing is we have a processor with an average arm, not a gunslinger so he might not even get those 50/50's to even show what he can do. XL has some of the same BY issues, if he doesn't get some 50/50 throws his way he's going to be stuck catching a lot of expected shallow crossers aka dinks and dunks
  9. Right, D Johnson, Thielen, and XL/WR3 with new guards and TE should be close to a wash. Add in BY being the #1 overall draft pick, better than Teddy in 2020 shouldn't be too much to ask for.
  10. Well he was projected 5th/6th by most profiles I read. Most had these same weaknesses, slow vertical speed, no NFL competition, whatever. He had the same 40 and 20/10 splits as Antonio Brown, 3" more height and like 10" more vertical. It's mostly going to come down to the level of competition he faced and if he can get decent separation SCOUTING REPORT: WEAKNESSES Lacks explosive separation quickness and deep speed, often requires contested catches due to close coverage. Performance against higher caliber defenses remains a significant unknown, potentially impacting transition to the NFL. Subpar after-the-catch dynamics, with limited elusiveness and downfield acceleration affecting YAC potential. May struggle to step up his game - especially after playing at a lower level of compeition Initial stiffness in press situations could be exploited by physical NFL cornerbacks, necessitating refined footwork and release strategy.
  11. I was going to say 2020 Teddy numbers as the floor, since that wasn't good enough for Tepper/Rhule/whoever decided to go on that fuging qb carousel. If TB played all 17 games it would have been right about what you listed. 7.6 yards per attempt, up from BY's season 1 5.5.
  12. Interested to hear from the Bryce optimists on this, something other than "show improvement"
  13. I'm a little bummed at the lackluster udfa signing. It's not meant for any sort of qb competition. Devin Leary, Hartman, Austin Reed, Pratt, Travis, all could have actually pushed Bryce a little bit to step up his game. Pretty much all went where we could have taken a flyer on them
  14. Other tricky thing about one year of production is we don't know how he looks against any current NFL CB's. Closest I could find
  15. yeah I don't think he's going to be running a lot of jet sweeps or anything like that.
  16. That seems generally his style, but he might make an exception for his hand picked QB
  17. I mean it worked against 20 year old college kids, he's going to need to add some more tools and refinement to that in the pros. Being compared to a WR from 30-40 years ago is something else considering the game has completely changed
  18. I'll give Morgan credit for holding his ground on the compensation
