The guy was there last year as the OC, DC just insisted on calling the plays live. I dunno if it will look any different other than DC getting freed up to focus on clock and time out management. Best case scenario they force Bryce to throw downfield more to see if he's actually able to do it, I doubt they add QB sneaks or much more play action due to his size.

Yeah he's never really been a big threat on routes as is and they'll probably be playing a rookie qb next year on top of the Penix and Tua show this year so weird move in my opinion but doesn't bother me! Even if they had a good qb I don't mind him eating into their cap as their "wr1" -
I could definitely see them moving on from both and drafting someone. Tua's on a cheap 1 year contract and I doubt he'll play well enough to sign another big one

Imagine a team not signing Darnold after having an actually great year, but we're here contemplating extending Bryce for playing generally like ass, after just watching Tua and Kyler get overpaid extensions and now they're back up level guys lol.
