We're not really due considering we had a couple years head start on the NFC South "rebuilds" and completely fuged that up numerous times

The CMC trade was awful. CMC for '23 2nd*, '23 3rd, '23 4th, '24 5th -2nd was part of Bryce Young trade, 3rd & 4th were traded to PIT to draft DJ Johnson, 5th** swapped with NYG

It goes all the way back to skipping on Trey Smith in the 2021 draft. Make better draft decisions and you don't have to make all these desperate trades

I'll take scouting nfl draft QB's starting in November over last year not even having the 2024 draft to be excited about.

Shipping CMC off for Bryce and DJ Johnson isn't far behind lol.

Worst case scenario is he's good enough to game manage us to a .500ish record every year, Tepper is satisfied and we get stuck with him for 8-10 years of mediocrity

Time stamped for this convo of the practice facility. Both these guys are thinking there's no way they'll have the construction done by July 19th so training camp might be held in the stadium. I agree I don't see how they'll even finish the second outdoor field in time but only having the one field in the stadium doesn't seem like the most efficient way of working with the offense and defense. Probably should have booked Wofford for one more year instead of trying to rush this through

Sitting on some metal bleachers in 90 degree heat on plastic turf sounds horrid lol. I know Wofford was hot but I'd prefer the grass hill over bleachers any day. Only upside to the new site is maybe being able to get a better view of the actual practice and it being a pain in the ass for security to stop people from filming.
