  1. Texans have a poor oline (other than Tunsil), poor wide receivers, and no one to mentor CJ Stroud unless you think his backup Davis Mills is that guy. Bryce is in a much better position. I see CJ's first year mimicking Justin Field's and that will not be pretty.
  2. Well that would suck for us but the draft never really goes like people think. Two qbs till on the board should throw a monkey wrench in that mock.
  3. I don't get all of the hate for the kid. So he posted some weird stuff of him putting mayonnaise in coffee and eating bananas with the peel. Young people post dumb stuff all the time. At least it wasn't him in a gasmask or drag racing. It also doesn't really say anything about him as a qb or leader. He had a crap offensive line. Also, several teams think he needs toe surgery. I'm glad we didn't take him, but i don't have any ill will toward him. Why would I or any of you?
  4. bpa: Michael Mayer TE, Darnell Washington TE, Luke Musgrave TE, Joey Porter CB, BJ Ojulari Edge, O'Cyrus Torrance OG. No need to panic and trade down. Plenty of talent left. I think the TE class is so deep you might even wait on that position. I would take Porter or Ojulari if they are available. Torrance is a stud guard that could help Bryce. Plenty of options.
  5. TEs take a while to get going and it's a deep position.
  6. the red dress chick is his girlfriend and looks really hot tonight.
  7. Nolan Smith or Porter would just be bad ass at #39.
  8. Very deep TE class. I think that's why teams are waiting.
  9. LOL. They suck right now and Stafford is not going to get them to the playoffs let alone superbowl
  10. He also might be around much later. No thank you and I'm an Ole Miss fan.
  11. This wr class not nearly as good as last year and i suspect won't be as good as next year. Let's go D.
  12. UGA LB or the PSU CB would be pretty amazing for us. Generally against trading down but....
  13. lots of wr and te left. That UGA lb is the one that surprises me.
  14. Not really. They weren't that good last season. Exactly. They have had no Oline either. Levis had a crap oline. He will be a bargain for someone.
  15. CJ should have refused. But did he know in advance he would tank the test? Probably not.
  16. Brady is one of the least athletic qb's out there. I think Bryce will be much better at avoiding pressure. Hopefully, he plays like Eli Manning. That dude would sit down at the mere first indication of pressure.
  17. Me too. If i'm an agent, i want my guy to take that S2 in private, and if he scores poorly, i'm not having him take it for the NFL.
  18. This would also hold true for any qb we take later in this draft. We traded down for Corral; lets at least see what he can do before we dump him and use precious draft capital on someone equally as unproven.
  19. Hellllll no. I'm very nervous about not addressing edge, lb, cb, te, wr with only 6 picks. No way we waste one of those on a qb.
  20. “The S2 people will say, ‘Hey, guys that graded high on this test don’t always play well,’” one club executive said, “’But, we’ve never had somebody grade low and play well.’” Columbus Dispatch This plus the fact that no OSU qb has ever been worth a damn in the NFL means you do not trade up for Stroud (Fields was poor first year and mediocre second year).
  21. By ugly do you mean a bitchfest on this board? Because i agree with that. You pick the qb that you think is best and you move forward if you are the coaching staff without regard to ugly. If you make picks based on potential fallout from the media and fans, you are a fool.
