I think Matt Rhule gets one more game
Teddy2SuperBowlHeartBreaks replied to PhillyB's topic in Carolina Panthers
The team is BORING and never wins and there is hardly anybody likable on the roster or staff. Yes this is our worst era its not really close. -
Tepper is the issue not Rhule
Teddy2SuperBowlHeartBreaks replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is why its dumb that the NFL has owners in the first place. What the fug does Tepper know about football? His qualification for owning the team was having enough money to buy it. That seems like a silly way to run any organization. -

The NFL should not have "owners". The teams should be publicly owned and operated. In such a system Rhule would have never even gotten the job (he was woefully unqualified at the time of hire). -
Who is your "model" NFL owner?

Every NFL team should be publicly owned and operated -
Would you put it past Tepper to move the team?
Teddy2SuperBowlHeartBreaks replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
55% of people disapprove giving the Bills 850M to build a new stadium, while 22% approve. These stadiums are nothing more than welfare for the rich. Its the city council saying well you're rich and connected so here is MORE MONEY even though NOBODY gets ANYTHING in return. Across the board people need to shut this poo down. It is the clearest example of crony capitalism imaginable. And fug Tepper in my Baker Mayfield voice -

Teddy2SuperBowlHeartBreaks replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
First of all, yes, of course he would move the team if there was an option that made financial sense. You are insane if you think any of these owners care about the locations of these teams. Every single year one of these assholes begs their respective city council for billions of dollars to build a stadium at the tax payer expense. It isn't the "government" that pays for these stadiums, its literally you and me, and somebody, somewhere absolutely has to tell them to kick rocks at some point. I don't understand why any sports league needs "owners". It is an outdated concept that causes more problems than not. Look at the Washington situation, or the Miami situation, or the Houston situation or the Detroit situation etc. These out of touch crybabies rake in millions every year and demand the tax payers build their stadiums, while getting what in return? Seriously, why does this league need owners? I honestly had a lot of hope for Tepper, but he has literally made me believe that owners in sports need to go. That is how bad this regime has been. It might be for the BEST if he does decide to skip town. Then in 5 years maybe the Carolinas would finally get a competent franchise. -

Somebody should make an NFL stock market so I can short the Panthers -
The fan base is melting into the ether
Teddy2SuperBowlHeartBreaks replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
It started with disregarding the most important player in the history of Charlotte sports, then replacing him with Teddy Bridgewater, and THEN replacing HIM with Sam Darnold. It’s honestly been a shitshow. -

This team is the football equivalent of Panera bread. Bland and cold and corporate and definitely not the most exciting place in the world to eat, but it’s located 2 blocks away from the sorority houses and will therefore get business regardless. This team is lifeless and honestly just boring to watch. There is no excitement, no passion, no energy, nothing. I’ve been watching for 20 years and I don’t remember a time where I’ve cared less. -
Same old Panthers. Huge losing streak here we come.
Teddy2SuperBowlHeartBreaks replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I stopped watching this team religiously after 2016. Still a "fan", but it is certainly not worth wasting my Sundays afternoon watching a mediocre football team. Slowly but surely, nowadays I only watch Red Zone and I am a "fan" of the entire NFL. It is a much, much better experience to just enjoy the action and all the talent in this league without being tied down to one team, especially this team.
