  1. I don't see any reason at all for a new stadium, BoA is in great shape and had everything you need. But I am assuming that there's no way we go another 5 years without Tepper getting the itch for one. If they propose a dome I will go out and protest. We get such great football weather here, I am the most tan around Thanksgiving every year from the sun I get at home games. But even when the weather is bad, I still don't want a dome. I had a ton of fun Thursday in the rain, it changes the game, everyone was standing the whole time and it was exciting. Hell I know it's not probable but I have always wanted a snow game, can't happen in a dome. I can think of at least two games where the weather gave us an edge vs the saints, they used to be infamous for their lackluster performances outside their dome, why wouldn't we want to keep this advantage against two of our division rivals? Football is a game played outside, in the elements, on grass. Period. Anything else is a cheap substitute.
  2. Are people really that against seeing him? Coming into the season i thought it was a sure thing Baker would be at least a slight improvement over Sam. But we have seen such bad play from Baker i don't know how anyone can honestly say Sam has no chance to be better. If Baker looks the same vs Baltimore as he did earlier in the season i don't have any complaints about giving Sam a shot. Now if Corrall was healthy you throw them all out and see what he's got the rest of the way. But with Corrall and PJ hurt I don't see how anyone can feel confident in ranking Baker over Sam, or vice versa.
  3. Please explain how I, as a fan, am supposed to cause the team to lose? What actions do I need to be taking to insure we get the number 1 draft pick? Should I spend my time at the game trying to cheer for the other team or something? The draft position will be what it will be. None of this moaning on the forum is gonna generate any extra L's for this team. So why not enjoy a win when it comes? You literally can't do anything to change it.
  4. That's two home wins in a row!
  5. Every day I get to hear sweet Carolina play in BoA is a good day. I meanz what do y'all want me to do as a fan? Sit here and boo all game? Wear a paper bag on my head? Get loud on offense? I come to cheer for wins and we got one tonight baby!
  6. Lmao at all the moaners watching from home wishing we would tank. Meanwhile I'm having fun at a Panthers game, something we have had very little of in recent years so i take all I can get.
  7. Shout-out to all the other fans in attendance, it's a little bit loud in here!
  8. I would just like to point out that Josh Allen's size did nothing to prevent this injury, for everyone who thinks Bruce young's size makes him unworthy of being drafted.
  9. The more I think about it the more it feels like Fitterer is already worried about the team being good enough next year that he doesn't get fired. If he's already managing this team scared he needs to go. If the GM doesn't feel they have enough grace to make this type of no brainer move then he needs to be fired.
  10. Because if he is a liability in the run game that makes him just a better version of guys like Mario Addison. And we're about to pay him like he's Julius Peppers.
  11. I HATE deferring to the second half. Defense already out there getting tired out. Why on earth do we not at least TRY to put a drive together to start the game to keep our defense off the field? They will have plenty of time to rest at the half and be fresh for the 3rd quarter.
  12. I hate this narrative. Outside of New England, Pittsburgh, and I guess Seattle which teams have consistently made deep playoff runs for more than 5 years in a row? People forget this team was highly competitive from 2003-2008 and again from 2013-Cams Shoulder dying. Most of the off years in those time periods we're caused by things that had nothing to do with "The Culture" of the franchise being ok with mediocrity and everything to do with the fact that the NFL is about parity. If Steve smith doesn't break his ankle in 2004 we were literally a top 2 team in the NFC for 3 straight seasons. And if someone had the wits to give Cam an O Line we'd have been competing for NFC championships for a decade. The "Culture" had way more to do with us winning than losing.
  13. I'm not sold on Wilks completely yet, if you could get a big name offensive coach (like Sean Payton but not Sean Payton cause fug Payton and giving up picks) then I'd prefer that. But I am 100% sold on Wilks over someone like Dan Quinn, any college coach, or any defensive coach. Either hire the next McVay/Shannahan or stick with Wilks IMO
  14. Did Cam get flagged last year when he took his helmet off against Arizona? I can't remember.
  15. At 3-3 I'd rather beat the saints twice (although that would require we lose the Thursday night game) Ive got a broom I've been waiting to mail down to ole Nawlins
  16. If I told you at the beginning of the year we would get to both A) Fire Matt Rhule and B) Win the division Would you guys have said no to that to start the season? We're y'all just ready to tank week 1? If we can get a home playoff game, AND find our next QB in the draft, even if it means trading up, the franchise will have taken 3 giant steps forward this year.
  17. As long as there is still a chance at us winning the division and getting a home playoff game I'm rooting for wins. Those playoff games are the ultimate reward for being a loyal PSL holder, and they're the best games because people actually start caring about the team and the crowds don't look like this years game VS san Francisco. I remember in 2013 the guy who sold the seats next to us all season actually showed up for that game and apologized for selling all year. But even once we're out of it I personally will not be tanking. For what it's worth I'll be showing up to the home games ready to get loud for 4 quarters no matter what our record is. Cultures don't build themselves, and they're damn sure not built off losing. I've been a fan of this team since I was 5 years old and Charlotte got their own team. I'm taking it on myself to set the example in section 204 and try to be an influence on the next generation of fans coming up, the same way I used to look up to the Catman in the section below us.
  18. Are people really gonna complain if we get a home playoff game? Winning a few more games and missing the playoffs and a top pick is the nightmare scenario. But I will 100% take winning the division and a home playoff game. Who are y'all so scared of in the wildcard round? Dallas? NY Giants? Green Bay? San Francisco? If we play well enough to wind up in the playoffs none of those games are unwinnable at home now that Rhules gone. And it would mean you can afford to trade whatever it takes to get your QB in the draft.
  19. This broke ght Brady's all time record in BoA to 3-3. Not many stadiums out there can boast that he didn't have a winning record in their house. Saints have us best though after wracking up a few wins against him the last two years, he is below .500 in the Superdome
  20. I've got 4 more home games to attend, what am i supposed to do? Show up and sit quietly in my chair hoping we lose? HELL NO, I'm gonna cheer, I'm gonna be loud on defense, I'm gonna be hype. Cause guess what? I'm not fuggin tanking. I'M NOT FUGGIN TANKING
  21. I don't care if we're supposed to be tanking when Tom Brady is driving on MY end zone I'm screaming, clapping, and kicking my seat! GET OUT OF HERE TOM YOU DONT SCORE ON THE WEST SIDE
  22. The trade being good and fans being justifiably upset are not mutually exclusive. Was this good compensation for CMC that will help us do an actual rebuild? Yes, and that's the right move for the situation we find ourselves in. But if you're not livid that the team has been mismanaged so badly that we're staring down a completely lost season, a total rebuild and likely several seasons before we have a chance to compete again then you're not as invested in this team as I am. The REAL problem is this trade should have been made when we decided to end the Cam/Rivera era, followed by a better HC hire and drafting of a QB in 2020. We would already be done with that rebuild. Instead we lost three seasons with Rhule...
  23. Do we actually have any data on size/injury prevalence in the NFL? Cam was 6'5" 245lbs and his career was still cut short by injuries that occured mostly in the pocket. Meanwhile Drew Breese played till he was 40. Football is a dangerous sport, injury is a risk no matter how big of a guy we trot out there. I want the guy who can make fast decisions and make impossible throws.
