The cable companies have finally priced their product out of the market and ESPN has been losing subscribers and $$ for years. Can't pay what you don't have. I quit listening to all of those guys once they moved away from sports and started letting me know how they felt politically. Some of the ones on the list are the worst offenders.

I think the writer totally ignored that we are running a 3-4 this year in his comments about the defense and pressuring the QB.

Seems this would be a very short thread if only the people that felt like we lost the trade responded lol

Last I checked Emmit Smith is available with no hip injury. I mean why not?

I feel like I did not have confidence in Tremble to catch they ball in critical situations. I may be unfairly judging that, but I feel like he is inconsistent with his hands.

Can we have one thread on this page about our QB that does not devolve into Cam. Cam is done time to bring in our new QB and no I would not want him at the interview because he would make it all about himself somehow.

I am ready to see what he can do with a competent coaching staff. I thought he did very well with the S-Show we had running things last year.

I think fanbases in the Northeast are much more obsessed with their teams. College football rules the land in the SE and I think fans are much more focused on their college teams than the NFL. It is also true that Panthers games have fans from many other teams, but I think that has more to do with the shift in demographics as more people leave the NE for better weather and other reasons that will turn this political so I'll leave those off lol.

Some people feel it makes them come across more intelligent to tell everyone the worst and then if the teams exceeds what they say they rarely comment or say glad I was wrong. I would just hope these people's need to be right does not outweigh their pulling for the team.

Watched him at South Carolina and he has some dog in him. I think he can bring some energy to the field when inserted. I would like to see him play close to the line, not going to be a downfield cover guy.

Have a good friend who's family had a toddler drown and I can tell you they will never be the same again. The guilt and heartache never go away. I hope he has faith that he can lean on when those tough times recur over the years. I believe that is the only thing that has kept my friend and his family going all these years. Prayers for Shaq and his family that this event does not tear them apart as a family and they can find a way to continue on.

So what part of the team suffers from all this cap money spent in one area, receivers, ol, defense? Fans will be complaining he does not have any weapons around him in a couple of years. Don't get me wrong I would take it and run if I were him, but this does give the team less to spend on the parts around him.

Agree and also that any of them really know lol. Some people take themselves way to serious and greatly overestimate their football knowledge. Guys that do this for a living miss on pics all the time, but some here think that they know for sure and anyone who does not agree with them does not know anything about football. I'll pull for whoever we draft and hope they get the right person, but at the end of the day it would not surprise me if that player is not who they thought they would be or who they thought they could coach them up to be. I am sure every organization would like the benefit of seeing the future so fans would not second guess their moves. Hindsight is really easy as a fan. Kind of like Monday morning QB.

I am more interested in the between the ears at this point. We've seen you can have the greatest potential, but not have the processing speed, mental toughness or ability to learn a playbook many many times in this league. I really don't want to go with the combine stuff to pic a QB. I want someone that has proven they can make smart, quick decisions under pressure.

I still cannot shake the image of him breaking down on the field following that concussion. It was really tragic to watch. His intelligence, work ethic and preparation made him one of the best at his position. Watching QB's audible and Luke audible to adjust time and time again was so much fun to watch. I think he could be a great coach one day if he chose to do so.

I think he brings a work ethic and preparation that our young guys should be able to learn from and hopefully emulate. Basically the antithesis of Robbie. I think he has a couple of years left, not sure if the Cap and drafting will grant him 2 I don't see if being beyond 2

I was responding to the people that call anyone who points out any flaws Cam has as haters. You are right it is somewhere in the middle and I think that is where Cam falls as well. Everyone points to 2018, but ignore 59.2% in 2017, 52.9% in 16 and 59.87% in 15. He was not among the best passers in the league in his era. Career 59.9% when looking at the entire body of work. First 8 years in the league he only crossed 60% 2 times until 2018. 193 TD's to 123 int's for his career, but let's not let stats get in the way. I was giving the benefit of the doubt because I don't know what would have happened if he did not hurt his shoulder and had matured a little more, but the body of work prior was not great from a passing standpoint.
