  1. Dude is just getting started and he is already this good imagine how good he will be when he has some experience.
  2. Tua is not traveling due to concussion protocol which is understandable in the healing process. Most players will travel unless some sort of rehab or risk is involved with the travel. I don't think that is the case with Lamar. I get coaches coach, but there is some experience even having Lamar on the sideline and having Huntley be able to talk with him. Or how about just having your teammates backs and being there to support them.
  3. I don't give a crap if he plays or not. If there is significant risk of further injury then don't take the field I am all good with that. Health is totally separate from being there supporting your teammates in an important game. Maybe he would see something on the field that he could relay to Huntley and help them win. Smacks of a ME mentality that will never allow him to be the leader he needs to be to win a championship. Don't want him on my team if that is the case.
  4. What was the reason Lamar was not at the game at all? Was this a team decision or did he just decide not to come and help his team in any way that he could? If the latter I don't want anything to do with him on our team
  5. Possibly your overall health and ability to continue to play the position effectively and as we've seen the runs become less dynamic as they age and get beat up and if the arm is not there they are pretty much done.
  6. There comes a time in EVERY NFL players career when they need to start relying on their brain and arm more than their legs. Running quarterbacks are going to regress as runners over time and often their bodies give out from all of the hits. If they have been able to make up for inconsistent passing abilities ie Cam by their overall athleticism and running it will come back to haunt them later in their careers. I have not watched much of Jackson to be quite honest so I guess my question would be, does he have the consistency when it comes to accurately throwing the football and making the correct reads? If so and you can design an offense that he only runs when absolutely necessary then he may be worth it, but if not then I would say no. The threat of a QB running is a great thing to have, but it should be the exception. Josh Allen is going to need to learn this as well or he will be in trouble in a few years. He takes way too many hits when he runs. Mahommes is much better at using his run as a threat.
  7. He would probably be good to get the team on track, but I don't think he would stay long term. He has a way of wearing out his welcome and does not seem to really care to stay in any one spot very long.
  8. Terrell Owens just said he can still play and help the niners down by the goal line. I bet if we bring Cam back we could lure TO as well. Will be awesome.
  9. I think Jake Delhomme can still throw a football too. Let's go old school and get the band back together.
  10. Nobody has any real film on these 2. Happens all the time. Let teams get some film learn their tendencies, strengths, weaknesses etc. and then see how they do when their best attributes are mitigated by a good defensive coordinator. Not saying they won't be able to overcome them, but there is a reason many quarterbacks struggle in year 2 and many end of as journeymen after that season.
  11. Accuracy is the key to a good QB in the NFL over most factors. Drew Brees too short but could put a ball anywhere. Richardson and other very athletic quarterbacks have not had to rely on this as they are able to create without having to be accurate. I don't see what all the hype is about. Does no good to throw it 50 yards if it does not hit its intended target. I've watched him play a lot and unless someone can get his to forget all the bad footwork habits etc I just don't see him panning out. When it is flight or fight time they all revert back to the bad habits in the heat of the moment.
  12. I swear every time I see this picture I think of that kid in grade school that always crapped his pants. Hell he looks like he just did or in the process.
  13. so are you happy wit the kickers? Seems to be the only group you left off of your list lol.
  14. lol is it just me or does anyone else want to say, "run Dabo run" when Dabo Gump runs out ahead of his team each game in his best look at me moment.
  15. I've watched every game. Dude has elite arm talent, but between the ears from a "football" IQ standpoint he struggles. Story of many great athletes. Not saying he is not smart, but makes poor decisions often with the ball. I've watched him miss many wide open receivers this year due to feeling pressure that was not there. His first instinct is to run outside the pocket. He is a actually a better passer on the run and can make some crazy throws. The frustration until the TN game is that he does not stand in the pocket and go through his progressions like you want a top-flight quarterback to do. I said all year they might as well just roll him out every play. The o-line has not been the best and his OC is not very good at making adjustments in game, but a little like Darnold if you can rough him up early he sees ghost
  16. Richardson struggles with accuracy. Strong arm but sometimes you don't know where it is going. Seen that act before. Can we tank another year and get Maye lol.
  17. I like not only the play, but the energy Luvu brings to this team. He is playin very well and hopefully he will continue to bring it.
  18. If we resign it needs to be a short term deal. I like him and think you need that kind of back when you need to pound the rock. Davis was not really that kind of back he was somewhere between Foreman and McCaffrey. I don't care about being a threat to score every time he touches the ball. We need a chain mover to mix in.
  19. The kind of thing bad college teams do to have something other than bad play to talk about lol.
  20. It is the way of the fan. Get too high get too low game by game. Yesterday was a good day and some fun football to watch. We will see if this staff can keep us from getting too predictable and have enough to overcome the teams down the line that will be watching film on what we are doing week to week. We've seen enough Walker to know you are not going to get what you got yesterday week to week. It is what separates average quarterbacks from the great ones. I hope he can sustain what he started.
  21. Amazing what a couple of running backs many here called garbage and slow (Forman) can do when given the chance. I think McCaffrey leaving is making the coaches actually coach for a change. The O-line seems to be finding their footing a little now that they have had some time together as well. Good to see them getting the ball to several players.
